Water Retention

Another question about bloating, this is my first Test Enanthate cycle, doing 500mg, at 39 yrs old.

Currently on week 9 and have gained 25 lbs, without really changing my diet. I have been eating clean with high protein, about 1 to 1.5 g/lb daily.

I know it cant be fat, I still fit in my pants but I definitely look more massive up top and arms....everyone who hasn't seen me in a bit will comment about it.

If I can get the water out, I will definitely look even more muscular. My question is, what route to go.....start AI? Lower Test? Wait till I stop my blast and go on cruise?

Also, how much of this 25 lbs is more than likely water? Anyone have similar numbers before?

Any high estrogen symptoms? Emotional, itchy nips, dick issues etc?

No way to know how much is water. Could be 10 pounds. Could be 15. Could only be 5. Idk anything about your diet such as carb intake or how many calories you're eating versus what your maintenance calories is etc.

Any high estrogen symptoms? Emotional, itchy nips, dick issues etc?

No way to know how much is water. Could be 10 pounds. Could be 15. Could only be 5. Idk anything about your diet such as carb intake or how many calories you're eating versus what your maintenance calories is etc.

No estrogen symptoms....currently cutting, doing a keto type diet.

Calories stay around 1800 to 2200, depending on the workout day. Carbs stay low, for the most part.

But to the OP..as you become more experienced with different compounds and just how they impact YOU.. it's impossible to really say..

If water retention is a problem..first try to eat cleaner and ramp up the cardio..Not liking cardio is very foolish,it's essential to a longer healthier LIFE..and/or reduce the wet compound..

Cardio has been good, I do crossfit frequently and walk at least 45min a day. The crossfit workouts are pretty intense, heart rate in the 160s for 30min to up to 45min.

Without high estrogen symptoms I definitely would not suggest blindly throwing an AI in. Crashed estrogen is the absolute worst.

You really need blood work to see what your estrogen is. This is not only important for now but for any future cycle. Seeing what your estrogen is with lab work on 500mg of test will give you information going forward with any future cycle that contains 500mg of test.

Unless you have a drastic change in body composition the rate at which YOU convert test into estrogen isn't going to change by a large amount.

So I'd suggest getting on private MD labs and buying some labs. If money is a factor you could just check test and estrogen for cheap. Like under 100 dollars I'm pretty sure.

I usually get other blood tests too when I do it and last time it was only like 160 with using quest

Go get blood work done,
Also go get on a weigh scale that measure body fat, Lean muscle, and Water weight,
Thats some dam good test if you gained that much weight at 500 mgs
