Tresto’s Chem Train

I had nasty insomnia/sleep apnea for years. 3-4 hrs a night max of interrupted waking up heart slamming and adrenaline pumping. It sucked. 2 hrs is crazy man! You ever try a sleep test?

Na man no need for a test. I won’t bore you with specifics but I had some childhood trauma that always happened between midnight and 6:00am. I use to sit and watch the clock all night every night. Still do. Always had a high end motor though. Fast forward to a TBI a few years ago and it just amplified that. Sleep just isn’t in my cards. Once in a blue moon I’ll get so exhausted I might get 3 hours but that’s far and few in between. Fuck it. Who cares. Sleep is for pussies. 😂😂😂😂

Hey bro why the slingshot? Well no forget that. I know why guys use it but do you actually think it helps you reach PR’s on bench? I tried one years ago. Didn’t like it and never tried again. I was just curious on what it’s done for you?

The biggest secret is the cpap. I also got wife, a kid, and a job, but after getting a cpap and seeing what real sleep was after all these years of insomnia and garbage sleep, I absolutely prioritize it. Sleep and food are first in my gains pyramid. I made adjustments to my life to make it work 😁
I have actually been thinking about trying a cpap, I’ll look into it, thanks.

I use them sparingly. Hadn’t used one in probably 6 months before this. Past few months I was cutting and kept bench at 70% the whole time. So I basically wanted exposure to the weights I’ll be touching in a few weeks and get some overload training in between that and the board presses. Some guys use them religiously, I think unless you’re dealing with an injury or something it can be counterproductive to raw bench.

Ahhhh I gotcha. Yeah man I’ve seen TBI put the hammer down on people’s sleep patterns for sure.

Thanks for the response man. I know a ton of dudes I use to train with used them and I always thought the same as you it would be counter productive. I can kinda see if you just want to feel a certain weight or like you said training through an injury but beyond that I just never saw the need for one.

I like it and I use it to get used to a heavier weight. The slingshot help in the bottom of the lift but you still have to lock it out yourself. I’m not using it that much but I think it has it’s place in heavy benching, especially if you have an injury.

But, I can see how it could be counterproductive if you use the slighshot too much like @Tresto said.

Just to be clear I’m personally not shitting on anyone for using them. It was just considered taboo with the guys that I grew up with. If it works I might give it a shot.

Trest starts tomorrow 💦🍆

That w/ halo? INTENSE!!!!

Makes perfect sense. Test with a wet compound, tren and halo for aggression/nervous system enhancement.
Halo only the day of. My total anabolic load (orals included) will be just a touch over a gram a week. There is something to be said of the synergy between trest and tren. I swear the tren gobbles up that methyl estro and spits out power lol.

Loving your choices of exercises bro. I talked several times this past week with an old buddy of mine who is freakishly strong and use to complete in all kinds of strength shit. A lot of what you’re doing really lines up with his way of thinking. I really wish now I would have talked to you and him and others before I started this recent cycle. Live and learn. That’s what’s it’s all about I guess. Someone wants to learn how to put someone to sleep they come to me. I want to learn how to bench 500 I go to someone else. Everyone has a lane. Pretty cool shit man. Keep it up
