Get Shredded!
Does anyone follow any specific training plans / programs? Like Jim Stoppani’s, Renaissance Periodization training etc?

I’m a garage lifter with dumbbells/barbells mainly, no machines at all. Once I start my first cycle in July I’ll probably add a normal gym into my schedule for some cables and machines.

I self program my workouts for the most part but use some programs I’ve used in the past as references.

Anyone use any training plan for garage or gym? Wanting to see what’s out there

Need to know your goals before suggesting a program, but most can be performed in a home gym with power rack and adjustable bench. Think about getting a set of bands for a cheap way to add variety. Also a homemade Earthquake bar for variety, and it strengthens the stabilizers for injury prevention.

Looking to put on some size. It’ll be my first cycle. I’m sitting at about 20% BF right now, but am on a pretty aggressive cut.

I’ll be running a test only cycle starting mid July. I have a power rack, full DB set, adjustable bench, bands, rogue echo bike for misery.

I’ll be going to a gym some days too once my cycle starts, but prefer to lift all at home because there is a lack of gyms near me but a pretty large population, gyms haven’t caught up so they are all so damn crowded.

I plan to do about 1.5 - 2 hours of workouts a day, including cardio.

I’ll start at a 20% increase in calories over my maintenance and see how that goes

Conjugate system is the most efficient way of training. Hard to do in a commercial gyl though.

*Different popular training plans include Jim Stoppani's programs, Renaissance Periodization training, StrongLifts 5x5, Starting Strength, and 5/3/1 by Jim Wendler.
*Garage lifters with limited equipment can find specific programs designed for their needs.
*Consulting with a fitness professional or coach can help in selecting or customizing a training plan.
