My deepest connection is with my soul mate, my wife of 31 years. She is my confidante, my lover and my best friend. Additionally, I believe that self continuity, or a connection with my past, present and future are essential and give my life meaning. My past always reminds me of where I came from and my journey to my present. My present exemplifies how my past struggles have attributed to my success. And my future is yet unknown, but the life I have lived, regardless of when I leave this world, will be left in the hearts of those I have loved as well as those that I have mentored.
