It's called an absence seizure. I used to get them. My brain would suddenly shut down and reboot just like old Windows 98 blue screen of death.

Scary as fuck when it happens while riding a motorcycle.

There is medicine you can take to prevent them. I was on it for several years.

Then as inexplicable as when it started, it went away. No one knows what causes them. No known cure. They just happen, then they don't.

I just chalked it up to all the LSD and mushrooms I did when I was younger. Probably wasn't the cause but who knows.
