I have a solution for immigration and China at the same time.
Build up South America instead of Asia, move our chip manufacturing and electronics industry to Columbia or Brazil, cheap labor, immigration will lessen because living standards in those countries will go up.
Stop eating bananas and start eating native North American foods and North America can supply its own food for its own people. Make Canada and the US energy independent and exporters and slow down on the dumb lies of climate change whilst still working on improving modern tech and innovation of new tech.
Things will be better for everyone.
