For me the best Motorhead album is the least known one. "Another Perfect Day" is way better than all the others.

I saw Warlock in 1985. I was living in Scotland and could see bands at little venues for less than $10 because the pound and dollar were almost equal.
I was at Donnington in 1984 and 1985. I think those tickets were around $15 (14 pounds to be exact). I was at Knebworth Fayre in 1985 when Deep Purple came back on the scene with Perfect Strangers. At that show was Meat Loaf, The Scorpions, Alaska, Mountain, UFO, Balckfoot, Mama"s Boys. I lost a front tooth when I got hit in the face with a bottle. A sign of the times, the first aid tent just steri stripped my split lip and sent me back out to rock. It was a miserable, rainiy day and up front the mud was a sucking down, 2' deep. Guys were losing their shoes in it left and right. They started burning everything in sight including the porta-potties. It was awesome in it's European savages type atmosphere. Like I said, lucky to have been my era.

Check this out:

These fucking line ups!!!!
One of my all time favorite riffs is perfect strangers by deep purple.

Coach mentioned them earlier. I'm assuming most have zero clue who they are
dougs bass tone is the most sought after, sansamp just made a pedal designed after his tone

Thank you for sharing that information. I'm not versed in the music making side of the music industry. One thing that I'm learning from Ola Englund YouTube channel is the vast array of pedals to achieve certain tones. Certain bands use certain things to produce a tone. It's Way more indepth than I thought.

I got the HX stomp and it is supposed to have a sansamp model called zero bass and it sounds nothing close to it, so I still use my sansamp with it
I use the Line 6 Firehawk. I like it but every time they come out with a new product, they all but abandon the old ones.
The Kemper seems to be the exception. Lots of pro’s using it exclusively. I know Gary Holt has for a while now.

line 6 came a long way, I still have the original pedal board thing was big and heavy, its tones were terrible, you got to be a nasa engineer to use the stomp, but its tones are way better

I have a lot of electro harmonix pedals they make rad stuff, I got the freeze pedal its pretty rad it can hold the last note you played and you can riff over it
