I've been taking oxandrolone and testosterone for a week now. I take 25 mg of var ED and 125 mg test e three times a week. After the first few shots, I felt wonderful; I was energized and in a good mood.

My mood is currently low. I'm not as motivated to workout or do simple activities. My diet is perfect, yet I've gained four pounds in a short period of time, and my abs have become more watery. And it's just been a week and a half. Because this is also my recovery week, I've done less cardio. I should have a lot more calories to spare.

Is this a case of testosterone flu? Or symptoms of elevated estradiol? Will the symptoms improve with time?

I had planned to do the blood test by week four, but I'm now anxious enough to do it tomorrow. I don't want to take my Arimidex unless absolutely required. Should I go to the lab right away, or should I wait a week to see if my symptoms go away?

Follow the link below for more details on my stats, diet, and workouts.

Are you suffering any any flu symptoms like soar throat, fever, nasal congestion, runny nose? If it's just mood and energy I wouldn't think its flu related. I have never had Test flu so I don't know how it feels or what are the symptoms.

I've noticed a little rise in body temperature, but no other symptoms. I'm starting to think 375mg of testosterone is too much for me. My last injection was on Saturday, and I'm starting to feel better this morning. Also, unlike the other day, I'm not drowsy after 8 hours of sleep. If I feel better tomorrow, I'll reduce the dosage to 300mg and evaluate from there. I believe it is a better course of action than taking aromatase inhibitors blindly.

Could I be getting too much estrogen from frequent injections (3 times a week)? Of course, the dose is calibrated.

You’re a week in, could be what some call test flu. Doubt your e2 is out of whack a week in. Run what you’re running for 4-6 weeks and do the bloodwork.

The more frequent you pin, the less e2 conversion. The more infrequent more time between pins the more conversion. Can’t panic a week in.

Also by looking at your log you’re the guy doing excessive cardio, most likely under eating, under hydrated. A shot of test e won’t cause any immediate energy or good mood, it’s called placebo. Perhaps the issues is the other factors at play, like nutrition, hydration, amount of cardio and rest.

May want to consider dropping to 200-225mg week pinning eod and titrating up. Take var pwo instead of ED.
Like Astro said, give it 4-6 weeks. You're not close to being saturated yet. Taking an AI now will complicate things.

There's a lot of people getting sick right now, like a crazy amount of people getting sick this time of year. There's been outbreaks all over the place. You probably got a bug, You're just a few shots in, with the average percentile it would be very unlikely that this is test flu so soon. You'll mostly feel that around week 3..

Are you still running a 500 calorie daily deficit after starting your cycle? Go at least maintenance level when first starting.
I re-read your original post where you said your primary goal is to increase biking endurance.
If endurance were my primary goal, I would run T at a TRT level dose of 150-225mg/week and replace var with turinabol.
