Get Shredded!
My Endo Doc has had me (43 yr old) on TRT for the past year, due to my labs. Even in the years I competed, I cycled off occasionally. I asked Doc about cycling off of Test & jhe responded with, "why would you get off?".

Is this normal, typical and/or is it safe/healthy? If yes, this means I should plan on TRT for Life?

Trt is for life. I tried a few things so I didn’t have to be on it but living on antidepressant just isn’t healthy so I’m on trt.

Vitamins

Morning
Vitamin D 3000iu
“B complex 135mg B1,2,3,5,6,12”
Tadalafil 5mg
Half aspirin 150mg

Night
Magnesium 330mg
Zinc 25mg

You would cycle off to get your natty levels normal. You could potentially try to cycle off and see if you could get your natty levels back, but the doctor prescribed you TRT for a reason,

TRT is for life, your body is not producing test and now you get it through an injection.

You can come off test but you would have to PCT to see if you levels come back but if it was low before it’s doubtful it will. TRT is safe. Most people are on 150-200mg a week and that is a safe level. That keeps my test at 1100-1300 roughly which is where I feel good keeping it.

Is an AI needed at the low doses?

Yes. That's what TRT is. It's permanent. Your doctor prescribed it because your body no longer produces enough. Would a diabetic cycle off insulin? 😉

It's 100% user dependent. Everyone is different. The rate at which is test converts into estrogen is dependent upon an enzyme known as aromatase and everyone has different amounts of it. On 200mg a week of test my body barley produces enough estrogen to keep me in a normal range without any AI. A lot of guys need a small amount to keep estrogen within a normal range though.

Not usually but some people convert very easily so it’s better to be safe then sorry. It’s good to get blood checked 5 weeks after starting to get an idea of how you convert. I don’t take an AI on TRT which is 200mg a week

Well I'll tell you, i dabbled a little when i was competative fighter and then retired and eventually went off for 10 years. my levels recovered after about a year. They at aroundd my late 40s everything slowed. My test levels were mid 500s. i went back to AAS and felt 100% better. now I am TRT most of the time with a brief break here and there to get hematocrit and any other markers back in range and then back on TRT or a little more. It's better than where I was headed, which is basically where my father, uncles and brothers went: to hypogonadism, metabolic syndrome obesity and declining health highway to death.

Same. I run 200 a week with low aromatization

I've only been on trt for 2 months, but doc had diagnosed me with low testosterone a few months earlier. It took me some time to decide if I wanted to try trt because it's a life choice.. but I'm sure glad I did. Best 2 months I've had in a long time and I'm just getting started.

Over 20 years on Dr. prescribed TRT i have never cycled off. I can see no reason to cycle off a healthy level of T to go to an unhealthy level of T.

Ive been on no less than 250 test per week for a decade. Im under 50.
The world is full of toxic shit that fucks your test.
Thats why theres 20 year old guys with trst levels below 300ng/nl.

Normal levels (pre-fuckery) is 1200+

You choose :

- TRT with 125mg / week and check after 6 weeks to see if you're up to 150 etc ....

Or

- PCT with HMG 75uis 3x week or Clomid 50mg / day

With TRT you need to check your PSA every 6 months, hematocrit, estradiol.

A heathly production of test are estimated at 80mg of Enanthate/ week so 100-120mg are a good dose to start and see how your react.

I completely agree with this, i have been on nothing less than the same for 9 years and just hit 40. My test levels stay around 1400. Get blood work done ever 6 months and have had no issues real issues.

What i find odd is when i started with trt they said 1200 was normal high and now they lowered to to 1100 at one hospital and 1000 at another. How the fuck does that number change.

After a few short decades, you live in a radically diff world. In so many ways.

My understanding is TRT is for life. If you decide to run a true cycle then just come back down to trt level to start your post cycle. Run normal trt for 6-8 weeks and cycle again if you choose to do so. Otherwise just keep running trt dose. If you cycle off trt, your levels will just tank as they were most likely already low for the doc to start trt.

Ive been on legit TRT for over three decades and never taken AI. If your test levels naturally are under 250 you are a TRT patient. That little test that your body makes even shuts down more when you start injecting test. Your brain says its got enough test and stops production. Once you stop the body does not start producing normal levels again. I tried once about 20 years ago and stopped for 6 weeks feeling miserable. Re took the test and my levels were under 200. If someone says you will recover after legit trt, meaning your levels are under 250 its BS. Now guys get on TRT with normal levels and get off and say they recovered, but thats not trt it was basically a long cycle.

TRT is for life, so make sure your blood levels indicate that you really need to be on it. Also, try to stay away from AI's as much as possible. Very bad news and I had a long post about this a while ago.
