NYT cuts me off before I can read the article. Is it suggesting cutting carbs?

I'm guessing it has at least in part to do with autophagy. I know ketogenic dieting is practiced as well.

It is controversial but I've read about people having success beating some cancers using DNP. The cancer has to be something that feeds off of glucose obviously. There is limited information on it but the bit I have read was super interesting.

We know how harsh DNP is but if you're going to die from the cancer it seems as though it would be worth the risk. Doubtful it would be anymore harsh than an intense chemo treatment.

Has anyone else ever read about this?

I haven’t read about it, but back in 1999 and early 2000s when I first heard of DNP, people thought it has the possibility of causing cancer.

Causing instead of curing. Don't like the sound of that.

Always going to be odd/random cases. My bro-inlaw went from 220 lbs down to 110 lbs w/ cancer before he died last year.
So for some (many) folks, nothing helps...

My uncle was give 6 months to live over a decade ago. Stopped all sugar intake and began a plant based diet and he has fully recovered. He also went through some painful chemotherapy, but credits his recovery with diet and exercise in combination with traditional medicine.
