Get Shredded!
Hi guys, been browsing these forums for about a year now and became a member last week. This board was my inspiration to go and actually get my levels tested, turns out I have the hormone levels of a castrated cat. Doctor started me on 250ml Test-Cyp/week and 200iu HCG every 3rd day. I've been on TRT for 3 months now, test started out at 141, now at 489 and climbing, estrogen(s) staying slightly up but far below thresholds (don't remember the exact number). I feel great and have returned to the gym 5x a week and sleep far better than I used to. I do feel like I need to kick things up a notch however as I'd like to see more weight loss (already modified diet). I'm 32 years old stand 5'10" and started at 267lbs, I'm at 255 now. I've read a lot about HGH and peptides however the price has kept me away (already having to pay cash for my test and hgh as insurance doesn't cover it). Do you guys have any advice/sources as to what I should get that won't break the bank but will still provide great results in the fat loss department?

Thanks in advance :)

This may not be the most popular suggestion, but I would suggest sticking to your TRT protocol for an extended period of time until you really get a feel for how your body is reacting and keep doing your research, In the long run I think its more important so know how your system reacts to TRT over the long haul and how your body reacts to dietary and training changes and recovery times etc.

Continue your research, there is a shit ton of good information here and I think you will be able to make a more informed decision in time , good luck on your journey and welcome to the community

Savampyre,

Welcome to the community. I'm willing to help with any questions you may have regarding TRT as well as the blast and cruise protocol that many TRT brothers use from time to time.

Well, I saw these numbers, and I instantly thought, "This guy must be heavy." I am not trying to be mean, but being overweight increases aromatase, which converts testosterone to estrogen. Keep stripping the weight, and I bet you see your blood test level numbers climb.

How is your diet, that is, what do you eat and drink?

What are you doing for cardio?

Thanks everyone.

@Malfeasance, you are absolutely correct I'm a big guy not morbid, but that is the main cause of my deficiency. I am now restricting carbs and sugars, eating a high protein moderate fat diet. I've cut out alchahol as well. As for cardio I do 45mins at the gym every morning before any meals. I am also doing strength training (upper, lower, rest, repeat). I have noticed that certain things (mainly stress) will make my estrogen spike as I feel the decrease in libido and then it rebounds 8 or 10 hours later. Doc says in about a month we can look at an AI.

He needs too give you an ai now if 250 mg a week is only putting you in the 500ng range theres alot of conbersion going on and you might have boobs by then seriously high bodyfat and exogenous testosterone dont mix without an AI bro run some nolvadex through your bloodwork it will protect you from gyno while letting your estradiol remain high so you can get your script dont run an AI yet just a serm if you drop the e2 low he will think you dont need one then your screwed the serm will block sides but your labs will scream give him some adex good lick bro

Do you use your gp or a trt center?
Seems like you got set up pretty good for starting out.
My gp gives me test cyp 200- 1.5 eow & nothing else!!!
Was using LowT center but lost no ins and that was 2 expensive...

My Clinic immediately put me of .5 mg per week of anastrozole when they started me on my TRT/HRT Program. I'm on 500 iu's twice a week of HCG and 200mg of Test cyp per week. I have to agree with @Malf.

250ml or 250mg/wk? There will be a big difference. What's the mg/ml potency of your testosterone meds?

500 ng/dL is still pretty bad for a 32 yr old. Be sure to check out the charts, then ask your doc why having the average levels for men in their 70's and 80's is acceptable:

http://www.artofmanliness.com/2013/01/16/normal-testosterone-levels/

I'd demand 800-1000 and even 1,200 isn't going to hurt. If you can't get any satisfaction, shop around for a new doc.

Higher test levels will help you lose fat too. It's true that losing fat will reduce aromatase and therefore E2 conversion, but higher test will also kickstart that same process from the other side. It's a virtuous circle and it doesn't matter which comes first. However, your blood work indicates E2 is still in range so this doesn't seem to be a major factor anyway. Just get your test levels higher... I doubt losing all the fat is going to do much.

Yeah, if you're injecting a quarter liter of oil every week you'd be sloshing when you moved.

Reminds me of the noob who misread the instructions and pinned a whole 10ml vial into a quad a while back...he couldn't walk for like a week. I can't find the thread.

Obviously this post has nothing to do with OP.
