At what point do you get worried? I’m using a trusted source on here. Pinned .75ml test e into my tricep 4 days ago and the lump is still there. No fever and it hasn’t gotten any worse.

I had something similar occur with pharmaceutical grade test pinned in the quad. After 1 week everything went back to normal. I hope you find the answer you are looking for.

oof....tricep? Lumps are common and I'll have them last up to a week sometimes. As long as it isn't hot/growing, it's probably fine.

I have gotten lumps in the glute before. Typically last about a week like everyone else has said. A few for me have been painful almost like a cyst or zit.

Yep if I don't go deep enough with the slin pin it'll be a bubble raise to the top, goes away in time my bad ones are 2wks they last. Deeper injections with the oil warmed up should help, most recommend 1" to 1.5" deep and use a hairdryer to warm your oil up in the vial. The process should be smoother

How deep did you go? I use 1-1.5 inch pins for tricep injections. I find when going shallower I tend to get a lot of inflammation

As of today the lump is much smaller, less painful and seems to be getting better. Will not be trying to fit .75ml in a tricep anymore

Glad to hear Brother
Another reason I prefer big boy pins..yeah scar tissue but that's better than an infection..

Not proud to say but in my days of using hard drugs I obtained a few infections and I have to say it was one of the most painful things I've experienced, until I manned up went to Dr had it cut open . With that type of experience I assure you I am taking every precaution possible pinning this test and deca for the next 5 weeks and moving forward . My buddy who I spoke of on first cycle was doing 500/500 a week all in the right glute now has a tennis ball size lump and can't comprehend the logic of alternating .

The tips Zion and Weazel have given have helped me both with after getting the bump and not getting them. There was another post on this awhile back suggesting the same steps. Pull meds, run under hot water for a few min, then pin. I do only pin in delts and glutes and use a 1 inch needle but just my preference on that.

Yall are nuts. Why pin those tiny little muscle areas? Preventing scar tissue is nice and all but damn. It’s not like your ass or quads are gonna be rendered completely useless. And by the time they are you’ll have probably been long dead anyway. Just my two cents.

Shit I just did 2ml in my calf right before I went to the gym and I got no problems with it just hit calves hard and you don’t even notice it

I suppose it depends on thr compound and the size of your muscles. It would be w cold day in hell before I would pin DHB or Test E 500 in my calves. Fuck I wont even do it in my quads because its too uncomfortable.

I would not worry yet. It happens and triceps are very sensitive place to pin. If you aren't showing signs of infection it will pass soon. Stick to glutes in the mean time in my opinion..

I’ve stayed away from those two compounds so far for that exact reason. But I would like to try Dhb maybe for next summers cut as I already have my supplies for this summer.

Just checking in, how do you feel?
Do you plan on using that muscle head again? Lol
You have far better options out there for sites.

I have spoken on this before. Years ago I used to inject my tris. One day I woke up and my hand was numb and I couldn't move my fingers. Turns out I hit a nerve sheath in my triceps. That nerve runs down to the hand.

It took surgery and 3 months of rehab before I even had any feeling over movement in my hand and fingers and roughly a year to get full movement.

The entire time I was honest with the medical staff. They said don't ever inject into a tricep or bicep or this can happen. BTW, I was not the first case of this they had seen so it does happen.

Imagine if I hadn't had access to a top doc at UCLA medical center. I might have ended up with a paralyzed hand for the rest of my life.

Stay away from pinning that area. Without my excellent insurance, I would've been on the hook for over 150K. Stick with the ass and thighs.

What size needle did you use? Did you sterilize the medicine and injection site? Wash your hands?

I've been pinning TRT the past few years and what's worked well for me is:

  1. if it's cold, run warm water over the meds for a few minutes
  2. clean container and pin site with alcohol prep pad
  3. use a 27g (1/2 or 3/8" length) insulin syringe to draw your dosage
  4. pin the Ventrogluteal or Gluteal site
  5. Inject slowish (~10 seconds)
  6. (optional) gently massage area to distribute the fluid

The benefits of the VG or Gluteal:

  • There's almost no chance of hitting a nerve
  • If you have a bad pin, or bad gear, you're not going to be immobilized. Quads are easy to hit a nerve in.
If your Delt or Quad gets hurt, it affects you for days/weeks... And surgery would be lifetime affecting...

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions :twothumbs:

Absolutely, you guys have helped me a lot since i joined the forum. Im pretty quiet and just read a lot. Its definitely nice to have the internet and forums. Vets learned in part by trial and error. Id prefer to learn by reading and asking questions first. Then maybe trial and error but as safe as possible.
