Labs came back... some of this might be a little off because I got the blood draw while I still had the flu... but my hemoglobin and hemocrit are in line which is important as it’s always been an issue for me and many users.. I usually hover in the 17 - 18 zone while donating blood. Now I haven’t donated in moths but have been drinking pomegranate juice and taking ip6 and cumicanoids(spelling) as Dante posted about and this is nothing short of amazing to me.

Yes I do combined with the winny before I was using before the flu.. but it’s something I’m going in to retest soon.

Ok man I was a little depressed after that flu my weights and strength seriously dropped but I’m getting pretty close to where I was before getting sick.

I’m surprised how quickly I went down hill man. Barely eating and laying down all day can make you weak FAST!

I have lower muscle rounds after work.

It was a great work out today. Weights felt great. Contractions were on point.

Last four days I ate a little to many carbs. But today’s diet was good eggs, chicken thigh and broccoli, tri tip and broccoli, protein shake and eggs.

Once I get some good low carb days under my belt I’m going to do a load and incorporate more carbs daily. Probably an half a cup oats(measured before cooking) as a starting point.

I had kind of a realization recently on progressively adding weight- I was thinking if I am going to add weight it needs to be significant.. when actually the opposite is true.. the more insignificant the more I can continue to add... so last several work outs I have been trying to add 5-10 pounds evertime I lift. Were as I was trying to increase 25-90 depending on the lift.


Any way been hitting it hard, I just haven’t had time to post them up.

If you're truly working progressive overload correctly, you won't be able to add much more then five to ten lbs in any given week...

The 2 1/2lb plates will become your friend

Yeah for some reason I always looked at adding weight in percentages... but really that’s not the point of progressive over load. Buts that’s clearly why I couldn’t wrap my head around adding more and more weight. On leg press I wouldn’t move up unless I could add 25-45 lbs a side.

Just like gaining lean tissue, little here, little there. Before you know it you've added fifty lbs.

Yup. Seems slow as you go until one day you finally notice it...like when you suddenly outgrow all of your shirts and have to buy new ones lol

Training has improved vastly with the small increases in weight but I’m getting to that point where I need to do a de-load. My gym is so packed right now though which can make things hard. Plus there are a ton of kooks running around doing stupid stuff that just drives me nuts. Saw an old skinny fat dude maybe a buck fifty trying to leg press like 24 plates yesterday. I see this guy doing wide grip pul downs so fast the whole line goes slack an snaps back with every pull... normally I’m pretty good at minding my business but these days there is so much of it.

Thanks Belle! Ill keep pluggin away. Its basically my only release right now. I need to try to fit more cardio in somewhere.. I need a vacation bad. My employee on pregnancy leave needs to com back to work Im freakin mentally beat from covering her desk and doing my work also.
