Screwed up backfilling slin pins

Hey guys it was my first time backfilling and I filled 3 weeks worth of pins. When I reinserted the stoppers I pushed out test cyp through the needle to the point it leaks out the cap. My question is would you guys pin these or trash them? I don’t know if the oil would go rancid or if I compromised the sterility and would appreciate any advice.

I see some people warm their vial with a heating pad and think I’ll take that approach in the future. Thanks guys

Late to the post but I'm not a fan of the idea of pre filling syringes. To me it's not necessarily sterile to the point of remaining free of bacteria after it's taken out of the vial. I'm also very anal about sterility though bc of working in Healthcare and seeing TONS of infections due to poor sterile technique.

I appreciate the reply Matt, thank you. I was only backfilling because I was using 31g slin pins and was impatient at the time to draw and pin, and hoped backfilling would expedite the process. Turned out the BB was eating away the rubber stoppers so the leaking test was the least of my concerns. In the meantime I had some 29g arrive and resumed drawing and shooting as needed.

Glad you got it sorted out. I'm to impatient to use slin pins on test or anything oil based for that matter. I like 3ml Exel syringes. Draw with something larger like an 18g (have to be careful with 18g bc u can chew up your rubber stopper) and I pin with 25g. For small volume I use 1 inch 25g but if I'm pinning a larger volume I use 25g 1.5 inch. I don't even feel the 25g unless I'm not paying attention and don't make a proper needle insertion. 25g is perfect for me imo. U can't slam it but u can do a nice slow and steady injection and the needle isn't overly flimsy.

Their shipping is fast and their prices are great! I rly like Exel brand bc they have a piece that helps push all the oil out so u dont have a small amount trapped that u cant use.
