You’re 100% correct. I remember when I first arrived at the feds 95% of the inmates wouldn’t even speak to me until a few of the old heads checked out my paperwork. I had no clue I even had paperwork’s. Luckily I had nothing to hide so after a week or so everyone was cool with me. If I would have rolled on someone I have no doubt my time would have been a lot more difficult. Lol
Ya I’ve never done time in the FED (much respect to you + having good paperwork I’m sure you were gtg) but I have a few friends that have gone down and done some time. Obviously depending on where you go… it can be intense. Some FED places it’s like a country club and others… the things nightmares are made of. I know almost all FED buildings are racially segregated… meaning they stick to their own. Whites with the whites, blacks with blacks and Mexicans ect… they’re housed together but they stick with their own race no exceptions.
I’ve heard of a couple situations of guys rolling on guys and getting altered paperwork to not show the codes they use for cooperating witness and some other codes for basically helping out the authorities. But in both situations I heard they were found out. There really is no way to fly under the radar it’s extremely rare. Someone you’re in with is bound to know something, overhear it, talk about it or find it out… and even if you’re able to pass through all that you’ll get some CO figuring it out. You’ll be checked off the block repeatedly then PC’d.
But I’m curious man.. did they have PC where you were? Was that a thing? I’ve only heard that in the FED, high profile cases can get PC but other than that everyone is together. Child offenders are in with murders, rapists are in with drug traffickers, ect. This true or no?
