$$$ is answer number 1 in my mind. I think this admin has some "investments" over there.
AS in the billions and billions we're sending in aid isn't all going to aid? Probably lining politicians pockets or agenda. And they have to make it look like there's a reason to keep sending billions and billions...

According to Reuters, the head of Russia's Wagner mercenary group said on Wednesday his forces had taken full control of the eastern part of the Ukrainian city of Bakhmut as one of the bloodiest battles of the year-long war appears close to ending. If the claim is true, it would mean Russian forces control nearly half the city in their push to secure their first big victory in several months.

I feel sorry for the Ukrainians because regardless of the outcome of the war, they will have to pay US the billions of dollars in aid and equipment we have given them. There's no free ride here; we even made the UK payback for all the material help we gave them during WW2.

Reuters: Russia-India oil deals in other currencies undermine decades of dollar dominance

India pays Russia for the oil supplied in large quantities with the dirham and the Russian ruble.

IMF Deputy Managing Director Gita Gopinath said sanctions on Russia could undermine the dollar's dominance by encouraging the creation of small trading blocs using other currencies.

WP: The US will need 15 years to replenish its main weapons systems

According to the newspaper, representatives of the command of the United States Armed Forces directly point to the "fragility" of the country's military-industrial complex

American military assistance to Ukraine, which has already exceeded $32 billion, has revealed the inability of the United States to rapidly increase the production of many types of weapons and ammunition that are needed by both Kiev and Washington itself and its allies. This is the conclusion reached by the authors of an article published on Wednesday in The Washington Post. They analyzed this issue.

In their opinion, the Ukrainian conflict "exposed deep problems that the United States must overcome" in order to produce weapons for its needs and the needs of its allies. According to some American analysts, the Pentagon is not making enough efforts to replenish the stocks of weapons that left American warehouses and were transferred to Ukraine. According to the authors of the material, representatives of the US Armed Forces command directly point to the "fragility" of the country's military-industrial complex (MIC).

The volume of production of American factories may not be sufficient to prevent the depletion of stocks of key weapons and ammunition that the United States supplies to Ukraine. In this regard, The Washington Post notes, it will take 15 years at the peacetime production level and more than eight years at the wartime pace to replenish the stocks of the main weapons systems. The publication in this list includes guided missiles, aircraft and attack drones that can be transferred to allies. At the same time, it will take the United States four years to replenish the M982 Excalibur high-precision guided missiles sent to Kiev, and two and a half years for the HIMARS MLRS.

Common problems
According to the newspaper, the problem is not limited to what the US supplies to Ukraine. We are talking about the fact that the current pace of production will require more than 10 years to replace the American fleet of UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters and almost 20 years for modern medium-range air-to-air missiles. The Pentagon will need at least 44 years before it can replace its fleet of aircraft carriers. The publication explains that for decades after the Second World War, military spending fell, and the military-industrial complex was sharply reduced. Of the 51 large companies in this sector in the 1990s, about 5 have remained to date.

According to experts, unpredictable demand in the defense sector and short-term contracts seriously constrain investment in additional capacity. Modern military equipment is extremely difficult to manufacture. As the publication explains, to create only one F-35 fighter, 300 thousand parts from 1.7 thousand suppliers are needed. In addition, the situation is complicated by the growing number of lawmakers who believe that the United States is providing too much assistance to Ukraine. One of the latest polls showed that 40% of Republicans in Congress hold this position, compared with 9% in the spring of 2022. As the article notes, "it is unclear how long Americans will tolerate military spending, which already exceeds 3% of GDP, in an era of inflation and economic tension."

In Europe, the publication continues, the problems are no less serious. In Germany, amid plans for a sharp expansion of the military presence, ammunition stocks are believed to be enough for two days of fighting, and in the UK - for eight. To solve these problems, EU leaders are exploring ways to accelerate production, possibly through pre-purchase agreements similar to the development of vaccines against COVID-19.

The Biden Admin is so damn stupid it's unbelievable.
Joe said they would blow it up. Then they do and they are like "Look Russia did it". Then that failed and they are like "look Ukraine did it".

"WE NEVER said we would do it." says Creepy Sleepy Joe.

Joe is on video saying they would get it done. Just like he got the Prosecutor investigating Hunter fired...on video again. And denies it.

These are the dumbest F**** I have ever witnessed in my 44 years on this Earth. The voters and the administration.

Time for GITMO for everyone in this admin.

Russia seized part of American weapons for Ukraine and gave it to Iran to create analogues, - CNN with reference to the Pentagon

▪️According to the US military, the Russians sent samples of captured weapons to Iran in order to try to create similar weapons based on it.
▪️Among the transferred samples are Javelin anti-tank systems and MANPADS.
It is not clear whether Iran has successfully reverse-engineered any of the US weapons captured in Ukraine, but Tehran has shown great expertise in developing weapons systems based on US equipment captured earlier, the article emphasizes.

If true Russia took out a command and control bunker deep underground.

“Dozens of NATO officers” were killed in a “terrifying strike” by a Mach 12 missile. In all likelihood, we are talking about the defeat of the “shadow General Staff” of NATO in Ukraine. The secret underground bunker, built at a depth of 400 feet (120 meters), housed several NATO officers (retired) and advisers. In total, more than 300 people. To date, according to the portal, 40 people have been pulled out from under the rubble of the underground headquarters, but most of those who died under the rubble have not yet been found.

I shudder to think what the US military will look like 15 years from now if progressive leftist influence remains unopposed much less changed.

My family from Ukraine...just moved back to Ukraine...Kiev.

They're house was blown up by friendly fire.

They've been living in a hostel and urs truly sent them money.

Guess what. They despise Zelensky and they openly admit there are Nazis in Ukraine and they have tormented Russians for decades.

Our Russian family also has visited them in Kiev.

I've been on facetime to witness it all.

What our media reports is fake and only Dems and libtards are stupid enough to believe any of it 🤣🤣🤣🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

Same idiots are on your 7th covid booster. If ur alive.

Get Shredded!
Ukraine and NATO have been shelling Russians since 2014 and now its payback time. I think both Countries are corrupt but if anyone thinks Ukraine and NATO have a chance they are not paying attention.
Wait, do you actually think this is true?

The MSM would have you believe Ukraine is winning or could win.

I can't believe some people are stupid enough to believe those lies.

Meanwhile Zelensky is asking for more money...
My wife is Ukrainian and, you sir, are misled. I have two family members volunteering in Ukraine and the momentum is, for the most part, in their favor. Russia has lost most of their tier 4 equipment and is widely adopting cold war era equipment and vehicles across the entire front. They continue to not learn from their mistakes and their desertion rate is higher than ever. Ukraine isn't "kicking Russia's ass" by any means, but to imply that they are losing is outright uninformed. If you think posting a picture of a leveled town suggests otherwise then you're not in the know. The technology gap between NATO and Russia is considerable, and, just as important, their(Russia's) logistical capabilities leave much to be desires. Tech and logistics are the single most important aspects of modern conventional warfare and Ukraine has the advantage in both. The reconnaissance of even non western nations are all confirming poor performance of the Russian military and personnel. India, Pakistan and UAE are all reporting the same thing, so spare me the "propaganda" card that most people try to play when they regurgitate the shit they see on Fox.

I've been to Ukraine twice. No Nazis. My wide spent most of her life their and never saw a Nazi. There's no evidence for this despite everybody in the country having a phone in their pocket yet nobody, including the Russians, have been able to source any verifiable Nazi sentiment. Zelenski is Jewish for God's sake.

Like most on this sight you are the poster child for right wing propaganda and any degree of objective observation world show you how far off the mark you are.

Instead of the incoming nonsense that I'm sure you're typing up having had someone call BS, I'll suggest the same thing I do everybody else so lost the media... Go there yourself and produce a single shred of evidence to any of this. I've had two people take me up on this and both of them changed their tune when they encounter information that came from somewhere other than US media.

In fact, while we're at it, my wife's sister happens to still be in Kiev at this very moment. I will literally give you her phone number here and now if you think you could get your supposed family members in Ukraine to call her and verify ANY of that...because I call fucking BS.

Apocalyptic images of Marinka. This is one of many cities destroyed.

There is a good portion of these buildings that have actually been destroyed by Ukraine, What the Ukrainians are doing is booby trapping these buildings with charges and explosives, and they are luring in the Wagner group, once some of these buildings get occupied to a considerable degree they've been detonating the buildings completely crippling the majority of Russia's specially forces, this includes the spetanus which is going to take well over a decade to replenish..

I normally sit on the sidelines with these conversations, but there's a lot of misinformation out there.
People need to read between the lines..

Far as the weapon deals that have been made with Russia and Iran, it's very unlikely that Russia is supplying Iran, in fact it's going to be quite the opposite. Russia is having extreme difficulties producing in manufacturing tanks, and they are resorting to crude methods with attempting to upgrade they're older reserve tanks by covering them with charges and cages Just to give them a small chance of absorbing a direct hit from drones and other sophisticated weapons that the West have been supplying.

Iran is a very formidable force, and extremely underestimated. They have some decent weapons.
They are no slouch.. their Air Force is terrible due to the lack of parts and equipment needed to service their aircraft, but their Navy is pretty scrappy, and they have a pretty successful drone and missile program.

People keep making comments about the US taxpayer dollars supporting Ukraine, What the majority of people don't understand If this is something that has been contracted for a very long time.
The US denuclearized Ukraine, Ukraine has always one of their independence from Russia, during the collapse of the Soviet Union, Ukraine had a considerable amount of nukes that was left over from the Russian regime, Russia did not like this. The Americans intervened and disarmed Ukraine, and in return promised Ukraine that we would support them at all costs if they were ever invaded.. long as they forfeited their nukes..
Fast forward, here we are today.
It is unfortunate, but yes we have a moral obligation to support them. There's many other Western countries that were silent partners in the deal.

Regardless of any corruption that is in that nation, there's corruption with every nation, but there's no mistake about it Russia will not take Ukraine.
People need to read their history post dating world war II with Russia and Ukraine and all the way up until today.
Both of these countries have murderous parties, and many different tiers of corruption within their own political powers. Ukraine would rather blow up its own cities just to take down Russian soldiers rather than fall..

You only have to read this article, if the dollar stops having value, which is happening since 1913, followed by 1970 (when Dixon eliminates the gold pattern) everything that USA and NATO can spend on the war, will cease to be possible .

Meanwhile, Russia and China are creating a system where money is support with gold, Russia has tons of energetic resources, and China produces real things, fabric of the world.

Saudi Arabia, USA's strategic partner to maintain the hegemony of the dollar, is already accepting other currencies as a form of payment.

You cannot deny reality, the West will have a bad time because it has lived above the material reality of a rational economy based on production.

Russia and China are not desperate, their leaders are strategic and think in the long term, the power forces change throughout history and centuries, the 21st century will be much more favorable to them than to Europe or the US. We have been led by a lot of Imbeciles for too long. Now, we will pay the price.

In fact, while we're at it, my wife's sister happens to still be in Kiev at this very moment. I will literally give you her phone number here and now if you think you could get your supposed family members in Ukraine to call her and verify ANY of that...because I call fucking BS.
If you weren't such a retart I'd inform u that had u read any of this thread, ud see I posted actual photos.

So kick rocks fool🖕🖕🖕🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

I think we have a moral obligation to also pursue some type of cease-fire or peace proposal. There has to be a "way out" for both parties especially Russia if we are serious about stopping the conflict. If not, then well, I guess we'll fight the Russians till the last Ukrainian.
