Okay, its not set in stone yet but there is a competition in August and boy...the timeline just lines up well. Might give it a go.
Where do we go from here?


Assess where I am now, sketch out rough blocks of training and what they would look like and then... get to work!

Team,

Good afternoon! Thinking about competition prep and what I can do better :) Excited to start training again, have to get the diet in check.

People always want to know what the beginning of a cycle would look like.
For me, it will likely be:
250 Test
25 Anavar
400 Masteron

For the next 3 months I will mostly be focusing on getting stronger for reps. I have some nice metrics to beat and the focus will be there.
Closer to competition the androgens would be bumped a bit and anavar would be replaced with something more androgenic.

Haven't started firing up the engine yet! Those post competition blues are still strong. I am lifting but really haven't started "training yet"
Dealing with a shoulder impingement issue. Once that heals up I should be sufficient ready to kick things into gear.

Shoulder impingement is healed.
Time to stop being a bitch in the kitchen. Get my diet in order and start training hard again. Had a nice month long haitus.
Lets go baby :)


4x3 at 275 and an AMRAP of 15

To keep things conservative, I will likely ease back into heavier loads. Not 100% sure but it may go like this:
275 - Done
295 -
315 -
335 -
365 - From here I would be back to "normal" training.

Depending on how next week feels I will go 275 to 315 and skip 295.
But once I get to 365 it becomes a slow grind of increasing quality reps within the 365-405 range until we start peaking.

315 4x2
Just inching back up, next week 345 and after that 365--which would put me back to my training weights.
From there we grow 365 to 405 for a few weeks and get some quality reps in. This is where the fun begins.

Currently running 250 Test 200 Masteron from Steroidify--great products.
WIll likely be wanting to layer in some anavar and slightly bumping up the masteron shortly.

Some Pause work. I think often people under estimate the importance of controlled repetitions. These allow you to really gauge progress. If you grow from being able to do 8 quality reps to 15 quality reps you've gotten either better or have learned to increase your fuckery so much that the weight moves. By standardizing your reps you minimize fuckery and ensure your gains are actually indicators of increased muscle size/strength.

Started new wave this week, ready to ramp things up. Going to avoid the orals for the first two weeks of this 6 week block and will use them the last 3-4 weeks. Will just be using Anavar.

Current dosage is
300Mg Test E
200MG Masteron E
3IU GH
3-5IU Novolin-R preworkout

No need for large dosages yet.
Today an easy session

185lbs bench 3x15ish reps, really controlled chasing the pump
Shoulder press 3x12ish reps, again just focusing on pump
Then some shoulder raises, band pull aparts and a few sets of back.

Thursday I will be incorporating a small amount of Floor presses before going into the office, very small stimulus and let it build over time.
Next "heavy" session will be Saturday.

Nice bench session on Saturday.
Am excited to see how this Mesocycle progresses.

I am leaning toward increasing some NPP usage early on, I would have to request more NPP if I do for later in my competition cycle.

I need a bit more fullness and NPP will help with that over the Masteron, however I want to maintain the Masteron for the neurological benefits.

Writeup coming about the Anavar I am running. Ordered through Steroidify, amazing results. Currently on 20mg/day.

Steroidify Review

Damn good stuff :)

Currently running 300mg of the Test, the test is good. Taking .5mg Monday and Thursday. Getting some nice morning wood lol :)
tempting to up the dosage, but its not time yet!

The anavar is amazing, i have been throwing it in on my most challenging weeks of a block just to get a little edge and it has certainly delivered. Big time! Highly recommend. Honestly, Anavar is under appreciated. Honestly could use some 50mg tabs before competition week!

Masteron, not much to report here. cruising along at 400mg. My hairline hates me :)

NPP okay throwing this in a bit early, but need a bit of additional fullness and do not want to push the orals (like dbol) too soon. Will be running 300mg

Things are going really well into this competition. Am excited to see things unfold. Steroidify has some damn good gear, in fact...let me get them on the line I need a little extra for this earlier than expected ramp up :)

Training Evolutions

Does anyone have a lot of experience with Isometric training as it relates to the bench press?

As I get closer to competition I was considering evolving my Thursday workouts to a Isometric day on the rationale that Isometrics will:
1) Help me to develop a "grind" which I historically suck at
2) Low muscle damage, easier to recover from

A week looks like this

Tuesday - Primarily a volume/hypertrophy focus now, as comp nears its more of a explosive development day + accessories

Thursday - Currently just floor press and a little back, I am obnoxiously week here so bringing up this weakness. Legit just doing 1-3 sets, around 8 reps and slowly building it up.

Saturday - Primary bench day. Currently around 80% 1RM for
4 sets of 4 reps and 1 capped last set shooting to sustain 5-6 reps.

Primarily debating 2 types of Isometrics
2 inch HIGH pin press - super max static holding essentially
pressing against pins - I have done these in the past, but not in a strategic or meaningful/planned out way.

Anyway, discuss!

Program is going amazing and am super happy with current Steroidify Gear. The plan is to introduce Tren E early, however I do not have enough for the course. Sent Steroidify a message to see if I can get an order in to get some more quickly.
Current total dosages

300mg Test - Split 2x a week
400 Masteron E
and I have been using Anavar in 3 week waves. Amazing

This week I am adding 150mg NPP to help with a little fullness via retention and a little of that joint lubrication lol. I am averaging around 212lbs right now, and can get up to 225. Will compete at 220.

What up Fam!
Things are going great, sitting at Week 13 of the current roadmap. Feeling great, Obviously the course has changed a bit since last update.
Am very happy with the products from Steroidify, smooth. Effective. Accurate dosing.

Currently pending a new order to make the tail end of this prep possible with the Anavar and will be switching esters from Tren Hex to Ace about 2-3 weeks out from comp date. I do not want to get stuck with a long ester at 200+mg for ~2 weeks post comp.

I also may push the anavar signficantly higher. Will depend on a few variables.
One thing to note, not documented below I did toss in 10mg anavar again yesterday.

Today's workout:
385 4x4 and 1 set of 5 at the end

Then these resisted benches

These are deceptively hard, and serve a purpose. In theory we are training my ability to re-recruit muscle fibers to generate enough force to get the bar moving again when I am stopped. It is hoped this will have a slight translation and carry over effect to when I am taking max weights and hit a sticking point, I can reaccelerate through it. If this doesn't work as intended, well I got some quality work in regardless.
