Kobe Bryant DIES IN HELICOPTER CRASH ... Everyone On Board Dead

Kobe Bryant died in a helicoper crash in Calabasas Sunday morning ... TMZ Sports has confirmed.

Kobe was traveling with at least 3 other people in his private helicopter when it went down. A fire broke out. Emergency personnel responded, but nobody on board survived. 5 people are confirmed dead. We're told Vanessa Bryant was not among those on board.

Eyewitnesses also tell us that they heard the helicopter's engine sputtering before it went down. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Kobe has famously used a helicopter to travel for years -- dating back to when he played for the Lakers. He was known for commuting from Newport Beach, CA to the STAPLES Center in DTLA in his Sikorsky S-76 chopper.

KB is survived by his wife Vanessa, and their four daughters -- Gianna, Natalia and Bianca and their newborn Capri.

Kobe has recently been spotted out at NBA games with his daughter Gianna -- a rising star basketball player herself. Their youngest daughter, Capri, was just born in June 2019.

Kobe is widely considered one of the greatest NBA players of all time -- making 18 All-Star teams during his 20 year career with the Lakers. He was a first-round pick in the 1996 draft, winning 5 NBA championships, 2 NBA Finals MVPs and he was the league MVP in '08.

He was on 15 All-NBA Teams, 12 All-Defensive Teams and led the league in scoring for two seasons. He ranks fourth in the NBA for all-time regular season scoring and all-time postseason scoring.

I really hope they weren’t. It’s going to be a little unclear for a while but I pray they weren’t, RIP

It looks as though no family was on board. Just him, his pilot and a few friends.

Life is short and you can't take none of this shit with you when you go. Love and appreciate the people who are good to you, death comes for all of us. Some sooner than others.

so typical of the media, this is going to be plastered all over for 24 to 48 hours nonstop, but yet when our brave military service members get killed in line of duty they get about two seconds of recognition. those are true heroes that deserve the nations highest respect.

Such a sad day for basketball fans. He was definitely one of the greatest to ever play. Almost a mirror image of Jordan, whom Kobe studied hours of video copying his every move in making him arguably the 2nd greatest player ever! He was great for the game and he had so much more to offer the NBA, the players and the fans. RIP Kobe!

as a veteran myself I can agree with what your saying however Kobe Bryant is a hero in his own way. Sports are one thing that help military personal get through deployments and extended periods away from home. Sometimes when your in the middle of a deployment or in a different country away from family and lived ones just simply watching sports can give you comfort and make you feel connected to society back home.

Lol let’s be real here bro. She spread her legs willingly and Then seized the opportunity for a big payday.

Bryant admitted to an adulterous sexual encounter with his accuser, but denied the assault allegation. The case was dropped after Bryant's accuser refused to testify in the case. A separate civil suit was later filed against Bryant by the woman. This was settled out of court and included Bryant's publicly apologizing to his accuser, though admitting no guilt on his part.

I stand corrected. They’re now saying his daughter Gianna was also one of the deceased

This. I’m currently serving and I do/did get a little upset over the years with the lack of attention my brothers and sisters received when they gave their life, especially in enormous inspiring circumstances. Although, When it comes down to it, Kobe did a lot of things that made him at least seem like a good person too and we shouldn’t be shaming people for caring about the life of good people or people in general.

Crazy it happens the day after Lebron passed him on the scoring list.
