Can anyone explain to me why red meat makes my veins pop so much u only eat red meat maybe once a week due to the fear of high rbc and high BP and cholesterol but I swear I always look the best after I eat it
 
I eat beef five times a day for the last 2 years. Blood work done last month cholesterol a little high, nothing alarming.
 
I eat grass fed, grass finished beef at least 2-3X for main meals per week + jerky for a snack and leftovers with AM Eggs. Its my 2nd fav food. My last bloodwork came back slightly elevated LDL. Just had a draw yesterday & am expecting everything to be good.
 
1/2 pound red meat a day for years along with ac couple pounds of chicken and eggs and cholesterol would be around 140. BP equally as low.
