Get Shredded!
Anyone doing any market pricing shit for vehicles lately? I’ve been accepted to grad school so I’m looking to cut some expenses and free up some cash. I have a 2022 F450 lariat and a 2018 Harley Davidson Road Glide special I need to unload. Prices online are all over the place. What’s your best source for seeing what fair market value is?

I used Edmunds, Carfax and Vroom. Once I got the numbers, I chose the highest one and added 1K and sold the car privately. This was like 4 months ago. While I was waiting to sell, I got a quote from an Infiniti dealer too. All in all it took like 2 weeks.

I just bought a used pickup from Enterprise, shopped for about a month. Used cars are going for premium prices. I’d think with the auto strike it’s going to bump the market up even more.

That’s what has me questions things. I know the heavy duty pick ups hold their value, but according to Kelly Blue Book, and NADA it’s worth about 2 grand more than the original sticker, and the Harley is worth almost what I paid. Just seems odd.

Just check similar vehicles in your area or outside of your area for pricing man. Price at the top end of what your truck/bike is selling for.

That F450 gonna get ya a pretty penny. How much did you pay for it?

Sticker is around 82,000, I paid around 78,000 as I get a Ford discount from family. Kelly Blue Book says trade in is 80,000 and private sale is 85,000.

And it’s hard to find a F450 for sale to even price compare.

I’d list it for 90 and see what offers you get. The truck market is wild right now.
