please explain to me why trump should have served in Vietnam going thousands of miles away in some foreign country to fight for a foreign country‘s freedom.
explain to me what that has to do with United States and protecting the people of United States?? I think he’s extremely smart not to go and fight for some other fucking country. Who the fuck wants to give their life and liberty for some motherfucking country in a war that has absolutely nothing to do with United States and its people or freedom

Haven't watched much of the NFL in years. Prime gym time while everyone was home watching the game. Now my son watches so I catch a bit with him. As for Trump and the NFL, I agree with his opinion, but since The First Aemdment is there to protect unpopular speech and expressions of belief, I don't think anyone deserves punishment. Punishing people for exercising their rights is at least as bad as being an idiot during the anthem.

Well I had a good time today. Me and the wife went on a mountain bike ride and at the end rode to a micro brewrey. We had a couple of beers, she had the smoked salmon salad and I had pulled pork sandwich.
Much better than watching the NFL.
I have not read all the posts in this thread but just wondering, what is the narrative for these players taking a knee? What is thier point?
I honestly do not know. And they probably don't know either.

It's pretty boring really. It shouldn't be, but my son plays on a traveling select team as well as for his school and it is much more entertaining and exciting. Something about the energy of amateur sports in general makes it better. At the professional level something is just missing, especially in football.
