Pinning delts

I’ve been using 1”25 guage for delts.
I had some bruising the other day and then some blood spray across the room on another occasion ..I try to be discreet and prefer not having marks that resemble an injection site. Especially on my delts since there showing almost every day.
I picked up some 1/2” 27guage. Just wanna to see what guys are using on the delt injections as far as pin size . I’m pinning 1 ml at the moment.

I use the same 25g 1" you were using. I don't have track marks or brusing but will get the occasional sprayer like you mentioned. I never put more than 2ml in my delts.

29g 1/2" into delts for me. Thin frame, low body fat. 27g I tried too, works about the same, just went 29g for more frequent pins. No scars at all.

I use a 29g 1/2. Never had a squirter never had any pain always perfect injections. Never more then 1.5ml.

I got some scar tissue from when I started pinning with harpoons, so not my favorite spot.

Only holds 1ml? Insulin syringe? Typical syringes, 3 ml.

so I didnt know there was different 29g I thought they all came in half inch 100cc. but shows how much I know LOL definitely they are insulin. but thats good to know that they get bigger

Buy smaller needles, attach to syringe and tada

Yes, the ones I get come with blunt times. Great for drawing up. Then I unscrew the blunt tip and put on a 27 1/2incher, lure lock.

I use these for all my injection sites. Nice and easy. I've never used an insulin pen tho. Would like to when cruisin.

Slin pins are my favorite. For some reason they seem sharper and push oil better than luer lock needles even the same size or smaller.

Yes.. I buy 22 guage 1” lure lock prepackaged 3 mil syringes . Draw with 23 then swap to preferred injection needle

I struggle pinning delts until I switched pins… I’m currently using 1/2 27g pins and it works beautifully… still some pain but the muscle is virgin. Nothing like pinning with the one your using

Shorter thinner needles for arms for sure. I use 1/2" slins for arms. If I go with long needles in my delts it seems like I always hit a nerve and I get shoulder pain.

23 g 1 inch is what I use. No track marks never had a squirter! Guess I'm not as patient as some of you utilizing smaller gauge

I use a slin. Usually 29 or 31 gauge. I only ever put .5 ml into my delt.

I hit a nerve 3-4 weeks ago and my arm still isn’t right. I’m not afraid of needle size at all.
I just wanna avoid any trauma. My body fats not that low really but my shoulders are striated so I think I’ll be ok with 1/2”. Im gonna try it next delt injection day.

Cyp super smooth too, actually prefer it to my normal prescription stuff. Draws better too in the 29g
