In all seriousness, I used to be a boat operator/officer of the day at my units in the military when I was in my 20s. When new recruits would arrive to one of my duty stations on the gulf coast we would take them on an AOR (area of responsibility) run to show them the area via water. I would either be driving the boat or giving the tour for lack of a better term.

Anyways, we would take the boat up into the river delta and show them our northernmost coverage area up there. Very rural and remote. I told every new recruit we got from 2004-2008 that there was an Indian tribe that resided up in that river delta that was known for being short in stature and having tuna can wieners. Most took it as gospel lol. We kept the folk story alive for quite a while and had half of the town regurgitating the tuna can wiener Indian tribe tales even years after all that silliness started lol
