It's a strange thing. When I would go out with my biggest buddies, those over 6'4" and 260+, dudes would ALWAYS come up and fuck with them. Even finding a way to somehow step on their toes UNDER a table. The more my friends would be cool about it the more these smaller dudes would fuck with them.
I saw some restraint from these guy I had never before witnessed.

It was a strange phenomenon.

I'm too far in now, if I stop people will think somethings up. It's like when you get so deep into a lie that it basically becomes a reality.

i gotta relate this how to animal psychology .. i had a badass rottweiler when i was a kid.. his father was a 13 time level 3 schutzhund Champion .

i never showed my dog in trials , but he was trained by the Breeder who owned his father... anyway my rotty would take you down on a quick command of Packen ,
or just back you into a corner and bark and hold you there. that command is pass auf .

now my sister had a lil cocker spaniel... and the cocker spaniel used to nip and bite my rotty all the time,,, he never once tried to fight back, he just walked away.
my rotty just knew it could take that little spaniel out at any moment. but he knew he was no real threat.

Exact same thing happens to my son in law. Decent size at 6-4 and for some reason there is a pack of smaller guys that want to pick a fight when he is at a bar or night club.

I get the same thing.. I'm "that guy".. No matter where, dudes mean mug me, or out of the whole crowd some hard ass has a point to prove with me, some dudes are just weirdos. Its never dudes that are alone, they always have a women with them, like he has a point to prove to her.. if they think Im looking at their girl, their mistaken, greatly. I don't go out anymore, and when I do its with the wife and she evens noticed dudes mean mugging, she says it just something about me. When we go out, we leave most places by 8:30-9, because thats when the rift raft comes in.. People, places and things.. no sports bars for us, especially on UFC night..

I often wonder, how does it work out for guys like that, like whats their record for successful random stranger fights?!?! are they like 43-0?

Three guys start talking shit to my son in law and it was too much for him to hold back.

So he kicked the shit out of all three of them.

Next day I see him and he is scratched up but nothing bad.

My daughter would not talk to him. She was so pissed that he would do something like that.

I did my stints in my earlier years and I never had a problem.. it really hasn't been until after about 35 I noticed younger guys not knowing how to act right. All my clothing is fitted, and I try to conceal my ink best as I can, no team logos,or anything that will trigger smack talk.. it's mostly just people places and things, bars or places that are known to get a bit heavy.. like I said, we bounced early..fuck sticking around, plus there's nothing there for me anyway..I eat my steak, she has her wine and we split..

We found a few good places that are more our style, and age group.. we're in our 40's, we're not trying to mingle with the younger crowd..

I'm with BC, it's just a formality and the way to diffuse a situation.. I'll hold the door for anyone with a smile, if it pisses off the haters, oh well.. I'll always smile it intimates the haters.. but I think we can all distinguish a bump compare to a deliberate shoulder or shove..

This past summer I was with the wife walking off of the boardwalk and this little angry dude literally bumped into my chest, and I look down and I literally pet his face, as bizarre as it sounds I don't know why I fucking did it, I just pet his face and said sorry.. he walked away looking up at me with this pissed-off look and if I'm not mistaken he could have been growling.. no joke the fucker walked right into my chest , I looked down and I pet his face.. as we got a block away my wife looked at me and said "why did you do that?"..
