Anybody have any knowledge about these urine drug screens that some doctors are giving these days? I had an appointment with my pain specialist last week so he could renew my medical marijuana card. He ask me to take a urine test and I had no issues with that because other than medical marijuana that he prescribes me I’m recreational drug free and have been for years. Well sure enough my results just came in online and it says I’m positive for norfentanyl. Says coming up positive for Norfentanyl is consistent with the use of fentanyl? Wtf. All bullshitting aside the last time fentanyl was used on me was like 6 months ago when I had my last major surgery. I don’t take anything but supplements and AAS. How the fuck am I supposed to convince him his tests are shit unless it’s actually possible they can detect fentanyl for months after last use? I know fentanyl is stored in fat cells but detecting it in urine months later seems far fetched to me. Anyone else ever have an issue like this?

False positive? Assure your doctor you're not doing anything nefarious and ask for a retest. If it comes out positive again then I would start looking deeper.

I never bothered to open the results online from 6 months ago cause I assumed everything would be gtg. Guess I was wrong. Where the fuck am I getting exposed to fentanyl? This is really twisting my head up. I mean the one from 6 months ago could be from the surgery but something is still not right. It’s only my medical marijuana card at stake so it’s really no big deal other than the fact that there’s something making me come back positive.

Seems highly unlikely. My first course of action would be to buy some fentanyl test strips. They’re relatively cheap and super effective. I would test all aas and things you take then go from there.

This company sells test strips for $3 a piece. I’ve use them for narcan and they have done excellent work towards fighting this opioid epidemic. I believe you just shave off some of the pill or whatever and put it in a little water then dip the strip in. I’m sure there’s instructions on the label. I would start with all aas. I’m not sure how you would test the marijuana or why anyone would lace it with fent on a medical level.

Lol Yeah sounds funny but honestly no matter how stupid it sounds I have to consider that to be a possibility at this point. I mean if I took something I’d 100% tell you guys. I’ve been a pretty open book about everything since I came here and I’m telling you all I have taken since my last surgery is OTC supplements( nothing fancy just protein and organ support) and AAS that I get from only two sources here. Other than that it’s just food and water. Hell I even quit drinking Red Bulls ( my biggest vice) a few months ago. I’ve probably taken 100 drug tests in my life and never got a false positive. Now all of a sudden two in a row? Na something ain’t right. Fucking weird.

@AR-15 get those test strips and draw out a tiny bit of the gear you using and drop them onto the strips to see what they tell. This should hopefully rule out any form of fentanyl in the gear you using.

You can always purchase a pre-employmrnt drug screen at the pharmacy and double check at home. Maybe the place that's checking your drug screen for the medical marijuana card is the problem. You just never know?

Thank you all for the replies. I honestly still have no idea where I’m being exposed to fentanyl at. I mean according to that chart above would have had to have been exposed to it within 4 days of my test. Test was Tuesday so unless I’m missing I should be able to retrace my steps somewhat back to last Friday and hopefully narrow it down. I’m open to the fact that it could be anything but since I’ve failed two tests it has to be something I take regularly imo. I’m heading to the gym shortly and will stop at the pharmacy to see if they have those test strips. If not I’ll order online. I’m gonna get a home drug test as well. Seems like alot of bs to go through since I’m retired now and really don’t have to convince anyone of anything or care about the results but one I don’t want to be labeled an opiate abuser in my medical records. When I get surgeries down the road I want to be able to be given the good shit. I’m not going home with aspirin after they take out a kidney or whatever. Second it’s kinda just the point I guess. I really never believed guys before that would say they were clean and got a false positive but now maybe I was wrong.

No cash handling bro and I haven’t taken anything pill wise other than AAS, my mental meds from the pharmacy and the basic organ support stuff.

Hear on the crappy mainstream media all the time about other meds from China being cut with fent and people accidentally OD'ing. dont know even if they just use same tables and they arent completely sanitized. My job seems to test every few years and that would be a crappy surprise. All in suspense.

I don't know if it is intentional or not on the part of the government, or they are simply companies and mafias operating without scruples, but the truth is that China suffered for a long time from the British opium war. So it could be revenge against occident.

Well I’m currently on cycle (Tren, Test, Primo, and Tbol with Proviron and Cialis. I’m taking orals daily and shots EOD.

I go to an actual pain management Doctor for my medical card so their tests are pretty good I would assume. As far as Kratom goes I haven’t used that in years and even then it was far and few between.

For what it’s worth I just bought one of those tests from the pharmacy today. Everything came back negative except THC. The only thing with those tests they don’t test for Fentanyl. Says heroin is negative but I think that’s a different thing. Fent has to be tested specifically for. That’s what Ive read anyway.
