52yrs old. Been out of the game for quite awhile . Actually havent been in the gym in probably 10years, but, just started back and getting pissed i quit for a while…lol

Had some health issues from getting out of control with gear… older and wiser now..so i think.. lol

Looks like a ton of relearning to do!!

Thanks for the reply… unfortunately i get bloodwork every 3months for my issue.. looooong story short.. when i was in my teens,20’s and 30’s did tons of stuff and effectively shut my production down and they couldnt get it to go again.. lol good news.. i get gear from the doc… bad news.. they keep a very close eye on me

Welcome to ASF sir! It is very normal and essentially expected that we are going to lose our natural production potentially in this game so just know that you're not alone there :) Lots of guys do successfully come on and off but every time you go back on you run the risk of that being the last time as a natural with an appropriate natural test level. I know for me I was on the lower end of normal before I ever started so being on test was a big quality of life enhancer.

We are happy to have you here and it's great that you're back in the gym. Muscle memory is a real thing so with the right diet and training and being on trt I'm sure things will start picking up sooner than later.

Trust me brother. It is always easier getting it back than it was to get it the first time. Just make sure diet is spot on bc that is what will decide your progress more so than any other factor.

I`m a simple man when it comes to diet. Chicken and rice, chicken and rice then for desert chicken and rice.....

Thats a good question Lefty!! I would say my biggest lesson i learned was listen to your body.. i got to a point that i thought i knew more than it was telling me and it didnt end well!!

Welcome bro. Health always comes first man. TRT might be your best option. But if you want explore further there is a lot of great sources here with great reps from them to answer questions and point you in the right direction. Just avoid Juice Daddy and I wouldn’t take any advice from anyone associated with them. Enjoy the forum brother!

That is a great lesson! We all have the tendency to look at our selves in the mirror and say fuck you body I am in control. Add loads of testosterone and other hormones in and that thought process just becomes more pronounced. I know for sure I have did that to my self in the past and it did not end well. Listening to your body is KEY. That is one of the reasons I love having a coach bc he acts as a buffer to keep me from harming my self all while getting the best results possible. More drugs always seems like the obvious answer when in reality the real answer is likely more food, better food, or an overall diet change up, cardio, training change, a deload week etc.

Its funny… u get injured.. well if i had more of this in me it will heal quicker.. if i train harder ill get over that hump.. sometimes your body is sending u messages but like u said u look in the mirror and basically say i got this, then it all goes to sh*t.
