Welcome to my Log and Journey to Bodybuilding. I am still very new to AAS. I want to record my journey, progress and possibly mistakes for myself and others. This will be a good way for me to look back and share.

Started at 186 pounds
Estimated BF 24%
(36 Years Old and 6’0 Ft tall )
2300 Calorie intake ( deficit )
Bloodwork pulled every 6 weeks to 3 months is the plan.

My starting goal was to get to 15% BF before I bulk.

Currently in week 8 on AAS
Current weight is 202.1 pounds
Estimated BF 20%
400 mg of Test C a week split into EOD

End of day update:
-Breakfast- 1 protein shake, 1 protein bar, 1 banana.
-1st Snack: cheese stick
-Lunch- 3.5 Oz of lean chicken breast, 2 slices of wheat bread.
-2nd Snack -1 protein yogurt, 1 protein shake.
-Dinner- 4 Oz 91% lean ground beef, 2 cups rice, 2 carb tortillas,
= 2250 Calories for the day.
9821 steps
Shoulders and Arms Hypertrophy day

  • Side lateral raise - 5 sets/10-12 reps

  • Any bicep curl variation - 6 sets/ 10-12 reps
  • Any tricep extension variation - 6 sets/10-12
    reps

( I am taking pictures to show progress later on )

Sub me in! Eat and train hard. Probably need more food. But you'll get dialed in
Yeah if my math was done correctly, I’ll eventually bump to a slight surplus/bulk 3200 calories.
My maintenance I believe is right around 2900. But I’ll definitely keep an eye on things and change accordingly. I’d really like to get lower BF% then go into a long bulk phase.

Nice, I'll toon in.

Got any juicy pics 😂

I do not follow many logs but I am compelled for some reason to follow this one.
Go getem' brother
I’m going all out, trying to dial in and learn everything I possibly can. I intend to make an impression 👍💯
I appreciate you and thanks for following me on this

Starting pictures will determine if I follow this log or not. Logs with no pics are boring as shit
I can understand that to be honest. Just not much to show at the moment.

You started training when you started the gear?
No.
I’ve naturally been semi athletic most my life. At times highly athletic.
I was 240 pounds ( mostly fat ) in high school football.
I was over 200 in fire camp and training daily in full gear.
I was pretty consistent working out during the time I spent in jail.
I have been slacking the last 2 years when I became a stay home dad.
I started training hard again a few months before starting TRT then starting an actual AAS cycle.

Why all the protein shakes? Limited food access throughout the day to eat a meal?
I have 5 kids, I actually do have access to decent foods. My wife cooks a lot, I meal prep sometimes. It’s just easy to get them down quick with the kids or stuff happening. I honestly love the protein I use. It tastes amazing to me and I am just addicted to it. Same with my protein bars.

My shakes are literally just protein and water = 130 Calories for 25 grams of protein. I try keeping things pretty plain, simple, easy and repetitive. By all means I am welcome to input so if you believe eating more protein from meat is beneficial then let me know 💯
( also the protein I get is reasonably priced to me )

My favorite meal is actually plain ground beef on rice. I really don’t season stuff. Probably why I like the shake and bars. I’m at the point I eat and do whatever will improve my composition but am still learning. Really don’t know much about nutrition other then calories, macros, deficit ( cut ), surplus ( bulk ) or maintenance

Definitely eat more protein from meat, preferably lean meat. Protein powder is ok if in a jam but you’re lacking on macronutrients. Also protein powders digest in about 1.5hours way to fast to be your main source. Your body can wind up using most of these as a carb source so mix is some fats with your shake to slow down the digestion.

Fats for slower digestion, like a shake with pb works great, but I agree Whole Foods for the win. Even when I fall behind on meals and do whey to fill in I find it dreadful. Plus my whey 100 a tub so no thanks

If the option, go for foods over a supplement. Good quality whey protein in the form of shakes is fine in limited use, but bars are garbage.

Just my opinion. :) Do what works for you my man. And damn, 5 kids?! You're the man!

Thank you, I appreciate all input and information. I can make adjustments.

I’ll remember to try and keep it to Whole Foods as much as possible, I can also add fats and use them accordingly, all of this is actually new information to me. Thank you

Ok that’s good to know, I can get rid of the protein bars. I just like the way they taste. They are not needed or required and I’d rather eat to grow and get big. Less garbage is better.

Honestly my nutrition knowledge is terrible so again I appreciate anything that helps me learn 👍💯

Lol yeah 5, the oldest being 21 and the youngest is almost 2.
