Get Shredded!
I'm assuming I need more water, in fact, I know I need more water, but this only happens on test.

I'll extend my arm quickly and my bicep feels like it's tearing, or my pec will cramp to where I can see it spasing out. Quads don't do it too much but I'm starting to notice it more, back never does it, calfs now and then. Anyone else get this a lot?

I'm getting my water intake up right fucking now and I picked up some taurine and a good multi with a good amount of mag, the taurine is 500 mg, not sure how much to take after searching the net, gonna go with a gram a day split in two doses.

I get that to, and I stay beyond hydrated. No matter what I did or how many bananas I ate it didn't help. What I did find helps was slamming 2 glasses of water before I went to the gym. I always drink plenty of water while working out but I guess that's not enough.

Ive been getting a cramp in my right calf everynight about 2 times a night. Drinking bcaa's all day, potassium levels are good. Im starting to think it has something to do with my varicose vein that is blowing up like a blimp!

I just asked this question and got a great answer. He had the same issue and suggested using sea salt mixed in with my water. It seems you can drink too much water, that was me. Anyway I tried it for 4 days and bam Im feeling a TON better. Might want to give it a shot. Google has good advice on sea salt and water.

I have the same problem and have asked before in a thread. I've done everything that people have said and still have issues. Magnesium, potassium, running taurine at 2000mg ed, I drink fluids with bccas in them all day.....I'm still trying to figure my problem out. May need to try the sea salt thing out.....ill try anything at this point.

Stretching and massaging did the trick for my bicep, maybe some deep tissue massage and serious stretching is in order. I know phil heath gets some serious deep tissue massages regularly and swears it's a must.

are you taking clen or ECA? i only get these type of cramps on those supps and some orals, and stretching it out is the only thing that helps.

ive tried taurine, potassium, magnesium, bananas and extra water, while they do help minimize the cramps they dont go away entirely.

Do you smoke or use any nicotine products? My baseball coach used to tell us it was from a lack of oxygen in the blood. He used this to teach us to breathe correctly while lifting and/or running.

I know this an old thread, but cramping/muscle spasms always seems to accompany gear use for a number of guys if various steps aren't taken. I agree with drinking lots of water. It needs to be to a point where you get kinda sick of having to go take a squirt all the time in the work place throughout the day. I'd be careful about taking potassium supplements though, since too much potassium can actually CAUSE muscle spasms. People here mentioned that they're taking magnesium, and yes, that HAS worked for me, but you have to take a lot of it. 400 mg daily used to work great for me while I was on Tren, but I've found now that I'm getting older, my digestive tract cannot handle 400mg anymore, since that dosage level now acts like a laxative for me. Don't laugh...this is precisely the main ingredient in the laxative "Milk of magnesia"(magnesium). So now I just take 100mg of Mag once per day, and 2g of Taurine in divided doses But ABOVE ALL....I HAVE TO STRETCH EVERY DAY FOR TEN MINUTES, (As it was previously stated in this thread by another member). For the lower back, I do a touch toes stretch and hold it for 30 seconds (no bouncing to reach your toes!!).

Yep I get the same shit when on test. Need to make sure I'm eating bananas every other day at least. Water intake was fine. It was def low potassium levels for me.

I was getting real bad muscle spasms. Adding in more potassium and mineral water like pellagrino and it really helped. I was drinking a lot of distilled water and it was fluishing the minerals out of me and cramping me up a lot.

I always have the same issues, but nothing seems to work. I eat a couple bananas a day so potassium isn't it. I'm going to try Magnesium Citrate next, I've heard that works. Currently, i just don't make any sudden movements LOL. Just move real slow, don't want to tear my bicep by putting my phone away or something. Usually starts happening to me around 5-6 weeks on Test, and persists until i'm off cycle. Least i know its not bunk gear!

I suffer from muscle spasms and cramps withe out gear. I wake up with Charlie horses, and foot cramps nightly. When I'm on steroids, it gets so bad I have to go to sleep with a heating pad. I used every trick in the book, nothing helps me.

I tend to think it has more to do with an increased need for Magnesium rather than potassium, but that's just a hunch I have based on my own experience. The only thing I do know for certain is that although it's beneficial to get adequate amounts of potassium, you really don't want to take more than 100% RDA, since many people will have the muscle cramps worsened by the high potassium intake. Not so with Magnesium. The only limiting factor with magnesium is the laxative effect it can have at high dosages. And when it comes to that, everyone is different. A little dosage experimentation is needed for each individual.
