Subbed. Definitely interesting background story, I know I'm a little late to the thread but I'm a recovering addict myself (different doc), but been lifting on and off for 10 years now and finally got that flame under my ass as well. Your story is inspiring

It's been a while since I posted here. It is now time to change that. I've had a lot of ups and downs lately. My mental health decided to go on a roller coaster ride which is now over and I'm feeling like my normal self again. I hit the gym today and as soon as I walked in I turned on some "Korn" on my ear buds. I walked over to the cable machine and immediately I knew I was back. By that I mean that I felt that inner drive, that burning desire from deep inside me to lift some heavy shit and absolutely CRUSH this workout and so I did just that.

The program I'm using is a custom made one from my coach. I told I wanted a similar one to what I had but I wanted to be able to do every workout in 1 hour or less. The reason for that is I was rly stressing my self out every time I'd go and run out of time to finish so this program has been going great for me!

I train 5 days a week on Mon-Fri and off Saturday and Sunday. This is due to working 16 hour shifts on Sat and Sun out of town.

Today was shoulders. I sipped on 75g of carbs in EFX karbolyn pre-intra workout.

Shoulders, abs
-Standing cable rear delt fly
3 x 15,12,10
-Cable side Laterals
3 x 15,12,10

Diet is 3850 calories. 289p 433c 107f

I am now almost exclusively running all EP (Euro-Pharmacies) products brought to me by PSL - Purity Source Labs Any non EP products will be named accordingly.

EP Test Enanthate 600mg per wk
EP Primo 400mg per wk.
EP Proviron 50mg per day.
Iron lion HGH orange tops 4iu a day.
More EP additions coming soon!

Appetite is absolutely through the roof and I can't wait till coach since I can raise carbs higher lol.

My current goal is to build lean muscle and if I continue to do recouping as well that is cool too.

Hey brother, just wanted to drop a note to tell you I've been reading through your log and it's one hell of an inspiring story. Being a guy who's had some alcohol problems in the past, I can relate a bit to what you've went through.

Also, reading through your trial and error moments have been extremely informative. I'm only on week 5 of my first real test run (test E 300mg weekly) and reading through your posts (as well as so many others from the smart folks here) has really helped arm me to be prepared and confident that I at least know a little bit of what I'm doing. Still sooooo much to learn, but I feel good. I directly attribute this to you especially since you've helped me directly with many PM questions I've had.

In closing, you've been a very motivational dude to follow here and I just wanted you to know that your posts and this log especially helps remind me to keep moving forward on days when I feel like shit.

You're the man dude and keep killing it!

Thanks so much for your kind words my friend. It makes me very happy to be able to have a positive impact on someone's day, life etc. Being able to motivate others the way so many here have motivated me is a great feeling! This motivates me to keep my log going as well. As you saw I definitely haven't been as consistent with it as I could of been but with that being said I always come back to it and I'm more motivated than ever to keep it going!

I'm here if you need anything at all. As always feel free to reach out anytime!

Man today was one of those days. Ended up having to shift my workout to later in the day than I planned but got a quick chest workout in and had an amazing burn. I've been doing my best to make every rep and set count.

Cooked my chicken breast out on the grill today and man it was grilled to perfection even if I do say so my self. I was going to get a picture and dicked around and forgot I'll get some next go round which will probably be tomorrow evening.

Monday

Shoulders
-Standing cable rear delt fly
3 x 15,12,10

-Cable side Laterals
3 x 15,12,10

-Dumbbell Press
3 x 12, 10, 8

2 x 15, 12, + 10 partial reps after full reps

-Barbell Cage Press superset with DB side laterals
2 X 20

The past few workouts have been interesting. I've been pushing past some pain thresholds and realizing that what I thought was going to failure wasn't going to failure at all. In fact I was leaving reps in the tank due to me hitting "my pain threshold". I've been realizing I'm capable of much more than I think I am. You are too! I also realize this is something many of you have probably did for years but it's a new concept to me. I've visited this in the past and kicked up intensity over time but not to this degree.

I was 191 this morning so I'd lost a few pounds and I could tell i leaned out some. Coach raised my macros and it's time to start pushing food digestion has been on point.

Something that has helped my digestion more than anything is something my coach said to try which is adding 8oz of Kombucha daily. Some days I have more than 8oz bc the bottles are 16oz but it's been a huge help!! With my IBS I was having a lot of constipation issues off and on but Kombucha has returned me to normal shits which is great!

These numbers are slightly off from his numbers bc I use a tracking app that goes by percentages but they are rly close.

Tuesday

Leg day

Man my knees was popping and be all shitty today so I had to not do some of the exercises. I have knee sleeves but I didn't have them with me bc I hadn't been using them. Going to definitely start using those again bc I've had this before.

Plate loaded Leg Press

4 x 15, 12, 10, 8

RDLs

4 x 15, 12, 10,8

Lying Leg curls

2 x 15, 12 + top set back off 1 and a 1/2 rep finisher.

IBS is not fun I’m sure. It’s good that your using food & drink containing pre- probiotics, fermented and cultures which improve your personal health. I started few years back and it has helped me in many areas . Pain is inevitable but, I’ve found a good regimen that helps with my past sport injuries(multiple fractures). The 3g Circuminoids 3g OptiMSM, 2g Black seed oil 20%thymoquinones has made a ton of difference along with PED’s . Keep up the good work ! Your macros and total kcals are great , get it my man

Was supposed to do Abs and calves today as well but ran short on time. I'll do abs tonight and throw calves in tomorrow or Friday.

I'll get some updated pictures up in the near future.

Waiting on EP Test to arrive so I switched to GC Test Isocaproate. I'd been wanting to try this ester after reading what @maxmuscle1 posted so I figured there was no better time than the present. Same dosage as before at 600mg a week.

Man oh man the past several days have kinda sucked. Life has been trying to knock me down and I guess it's safe to say it did for a very short time but I'm back at it.

The past few days has been a struggle with my diet. When I'm super busy it just feels like another job getting all that food in. I'll do great for a few days then I just had a few days of not so great. I don't ever deviate from my diet in the sense of eating a bunch of junk. I just don't do that. I'm eating more normal chicken and rice etc and I just end up falling short on hitting the Quantity.

Monday April 3rd.

Shoulders, abs
-Standing cable rear delt fly
3 x 15,12,10

-Cable side Laterals
3 x 15,12,10

-Dumbbell Press
3 x 12, 10, 8

- Bent over Dumbbell Rear Delt Raise Pronated Grip
2 x 15, 12, + 10 partial reps after full reps

Was supposed to do Cage presses at the end but my left shoulder wasn't feeling it (old injury) so I just did DB lateral raises to failure at the end of the workout.

-Abs

These pictures was taken last week. Fasted, shortly after waking up.

Current weight is 192.

Bahaha. I remember that scene from the movie 😂 Thank you for your kind words.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and encouragement 🙏 Getting a coach was definitely the right decision for me. It's been a big help to me.

Still hammering away on 400mg primo and 600mg of Test a week. It's proving to be a great combo for me!
