Get Shredded!
Well I've never did a log before so let's see how this goes. I apologize in advance bc I can be very long winded.

Current stats: 33yo, 6'2" 201.4 pounds.

I've worked out off and on for around 6 years but I never took it seriously and never stuck with it. You will see below the why behind that.

I was a beer drinking functional alcoholic for most of my adult life until May 2021 when I gave it up for good. I thought since this month makes a year sober that it was a good time to dive into a log.

A couple years ago I started having a lot of auto immune issues (thanks Mom) which is IBD/IBS and possibly crohns (docs don't know yet) It got so bad that I lost all my gains I had made. Doctors couldn't help me and i got in a really bad place mentally and physically which lead me to drink more and more. This wrecked my marriage but my wife loved me enough to stick it out till I dug my self out of the hole. She hung onto the hope that the man she married would his way back to her. This all lead me to stop drinking and just be better person for her and my self.

I started an elimination diet and found my trigger foods and I now live a normal life for the most part and my IBD/IBS issues are very minimal. For those curious I can't eat red meat, no diary, no greasy food, no white break, no excess suger etc.

I got back in the gym seriously October 2021. I knew this was my time to shine. I set out knowing I was in for keeps. There was nothing to hold me back now. I wasn't going to stay home and drink beer and skip workouts anymore. I wasn't going to spin my wheels anymore by eating like shit and pounding beers offsetting my gym progress. This time was different. I had a clean slate and zero muscle. I was there (the gym) with a purpose. To prove to my self that I could look the best and feel the best I ever have in my life.

October 2021 I started Test E at 500mg a week and Deca at 300-400mg a week. Oh man. When that deca started kicking in it was glorious. I was a fat dad bod 206 pounds when I started back. I successfully started burning off fat and gaining muscle.

Since that time I haven't really taken a proper cruise (I know I'm on for life and I'm happy with that decision). I used a combination of test and deca or test and npp with only small breaks between the deca and npp run. Had some anavar in there too.

During this "bulk" I got up to around 218 at my heviest so I started cutting. I knew I had muscle under there bc u could already see some of it. So it was time to start cutting. I've never seen my abs in my 33 years on this earth. Time to change that!

So it begins.

All my gear is SB labs unless otherwise stated.
Current compounds
SB labs test E 500mg a week
SB labs Tren Ace 280mg a week (On week 6)
SB last Mast E 400mg a week (On week 2)

I weigh and count every calorie. This week I'm doing 2700 calories as a refeed (lost weight this week too). Monday I'll back down to 2500 calories. My main carb source is jasmine rice and my main protein sources are turkey burger (93/7) and chicken breast.

This past Monday at 205 pounds body weight I hit a bench PR of 250. Also recently flat benched 100s for 2 reps. The Mast seems to be helping me shed water weight well. I've never been a super strong guy so that bench pr felt GOOD!

These photos are from today. I'll try to get some better ones and I'll also find some old ones so you guys can see where I've came from.

Most of you guys are bigger than I am and I aspire to be as big as you are. But for now I'm happy with the progress I've made in the amount of time I've made it in. I've really been getting my diet dialed in better the past few months which has helped tremendously with progress.

I always try not to compare my self to others but instead be better than I was.

Thanks for reading! Sorry this log intro was long and all over the place. Please feel free to ask questions as I'm sure I've left a lot of information out.

First…. Great job being honest and being vulnerable enough to tell your story. I’m not sure if You’re aware just how much that tells the guys on this site just how honest and upfront you are. I applaud you sir.

Second… what an amazing job you’ve done. Recognizing a problem, dealing with it head on, and making changes to get away from it to the point you are where you are. That takes more than balls… that takes learning major life lessons. That’s maturity and also being so fed up with how you were feeling and watching what you were doing to yourself that making that change was something you did. And make no mistake about it… you didn’t have to make that change. You could have kept going… yet you didn’t. YOU did that. YOU made those changes and as I’m writing this I’m so happy for you that you’re at the place you’re at now. Me telling you good job doesn’t even touch what you really did. I hope you’re proud of yourself and I hope youre able to see the major things you’ve overcome to get yourself to this point.

Lastly… and this is trivial to my first two
points… We at SB cannot be more pleased you decided to choose us and become apart of the SB family. And you running a log is amazing and I just want you to know you have our full support. I wish you nothing but the best going forward … use this log as a motivator to hold yourself accountable each and every day. Put the time in, work your ass off, get your nutrition down to a science and lastly run the SB gear you grabbed. You’ll be amazed at the progress you’ll make and with the compounds you chose you’ll be watching your body change BY THE DAY!!

I can personally say im siked to have you on board with us and i’ll be following along on your journey … a journey of a better and stronger you!

SB is here when you need something and if you run into any problems going forward please reach out to me personally and we’ll get you squared away.

You’re an incredible guy Matt! Get this thing going and hit this hard! You got this 👍

Just a bit more information about my routine.

My current usual workout schedule is 4 days a week training and 3 off. I generally work 3 12s a week at my job with 4 days off.

Day 1 Chest, Tris, Bis and Abs
Day 2 Shoulders and Back
Day 3 Legs and Abs
Day 4 Chest, tris and Bis

My body functions best with doing legs, back and shoulders once a week due to recovery time. When I have npp or deca in play I can do the above muscle groups more frequently due to the joint benefits.

For chest, Bis and tris I'm able to do those twice a week as they recover quicker.

I've had ongoing tendinitis in my right elbow. Been using Heal cream from @GYMnTONIC store which has been really helping my elbow.

When I'm eating in a caloric surplus and with npp/deca in play I like to do an upper/lower/upper/lower split for my 4 days to mix things up.

It's mind blowing to me that my strength has been going up SO much during this cut with the SB labs Test, Mast and Tren combo. I'm the strongest that I've ever been in my life atm.

My AI is Aromasin. I have armidex as well but I switched to Aromasin a couple months ago and I like it better. It keeps my estrogen more stable with less spikes.

I was taking 50mg SB proviron daily but I recently stopped it when the SB Mast started kicking in. Was to horney 😂

Workout logs incoming 💪

I normally try to do my cardio in the mornings fasted. I been having crippling lower leg pumps/cramps but today I did it not fasted, well hydrated and with 4g taurine on board and I had zero lower leg cramps. It was nice. 25 min cardio never felt so good!

It's like a whole new world being able to add cardio back into my routine.

Going to go cook up some 93/7 turkey burger.

Taking a few days off chicken. The other night when I had the horrible projectile vomiting from the prami (threw that away and SB labs caber will be here soon) I puked up chicken chunks with broccoli sooooo I need a little chicken break 😂

Hope everyone is having a good Sunday.

Morning weight was 203.0 (holding a little water)
Calories drop back to 2500 today.

Just did my Monday pin.
1ml SB test E
1ml SB mast
0.8ml SB tren ace
All in the same syringe with no pip what so ever as usual. I pin Test E and Mast E on Monday and Thursday. Tren Ace EOD.

Got a cold so not feeling well today. Got some nausea stomach junk too from all the sinus drainage (thanks to my kids for getting me sick)

Did a low volume chest and Tri's day.

Bench press
Warm up
135x10
165x5
205x5
225x3
205x5
Pec deck 3x10
Cable Flys 3x10
Tricep pull downs 3x10
Tricep reverse grip pull downs 3x10

Overall not a great workout but it was better than no workout! I promise better workouts in days to come!

Post workout meal was 12oz 93/7 turkey burger and 2 cups jasmine rice.

Happy Monday!

Trouble shooting time.

Getting a lot of nausea for a few days. I was blaming it on this head cold but it's a lot more than that. Anti acids seem to be the key to helping it. Anti acids are doing more than sublingual Zofran (I have a script for Zofran). Now considering I'm not taking any orals I'm inclined to believe this is a tren side effect. Upon researching it seems to be a thing.

BUT.....I'm sure you have all seen my prami thread (the one where Satan's piss made me hurl all over the bathroom 🐔 and 🥦) I honestly wonder if it's still from that. Hoping it passes soon bc I rly don't want to blame the tren entirely and potentially drop my dosage. It's going to damn good to rain on my parade.

Got SB caber on hand now but nips and dick is fine so I think my prolactin is fine.

What you guys think? This nausea and excess stomach acid from the prami incident still or is it something else? 🤔

It's gonna be hard to say. I live on alka seltzer and tums, so I'm not too good at troubleshooting my own issues, let alone someone else's. :roflmao::sick:

Great back workout today with fairly high volume with the exercises below.
Low cable rows
Lat pull downs
Bent over barbell rows
Row machine

Strength was on point.

I really enjoy working back. I didn't use to but I didn't have that mind muscle connection previously. I love focusing on the contraction and sqeezing the lats. The burn it brings is 🔥

Started low dose SB labs T3 at 25 mcg yesterday to keep my metabolism firing on all cylinders. So far so good! Only thing I've noticed is my resting heart rate might be a bit higher at times since I started taking It.

The heart burn/acid thing has slacked off as well. Eating chicken 🐔 and rice today to give my self a break from that bit of fat in the ground turkey.

Nice ! Love the all rows type days! Really using that mind/muscle connection to avoid any rough or bouncing . You can really feel how much better your form gets. It took me a few years to get it and do it correctly. Get the Thickness/Beef on one day , then another day I use varied close to wide grip pull-ups/chins, lat pulldowns , varied machine work to hit the full length of the lats. Hate heartburn , seems to afflict most BB’s . Kick Ass Matt88!

Incredible story Matt! It takes a lot to see you for you, realize your deficiencies, understand the value of your partner, make the change, and stick to the change. Your character is truly shining my friend. I will be following your journey.

Side note: I had been doing ED tren injections and have been doing EOD for the past week just to try it bc only way to know is to try.

Honestly thinking I'm going to go back to ED. I really think I was feeling better overall mentally and physically on ED injections. I have insulin pens so it's not like it's a big deal to ED inject. Then next time I do a tren run in the future l will start with EOD and try it again.

I'm doing Monday Wednesday Friday and Saturday 🤷‍♂️ 400mg a week seems to be working good no problems what so ever I'm on week 7 💪

It's very possible that it's all in my head. I'm definitely not ruling out that possibility. Appreciate the feedback!

I'm pretty sure you know I've tried both ways and prefer ED. I found that the days I did NOT pin, I had the worst insomnia and night sweats. But good for you for trying both ways and testing what works for YOU.

Yeah i do remember you mentioning that and actually yeah my side effects are worse on my days that I'm not pinning on EOD as well so that makes a lot of sense.

Thanks for the input!

Hey brother we shot the shit back-and-forth for a while now on the forms so in that last thread where you said you started a log, I jumped right on over here to find it.

You’re off to a strong start man thanks for telling us A bit about you and your life and some of your life struggles. We’re all human and all humans make mistakesAnd find ourselves in holes from time to time. It’s not about the holes you’ve been in or the holes you’ve dug for yourself or how deep those holes might’ve been what matters is how you climb out of them and what you do to avoid falling back in.

I’m really excited to watch you develop both physically and mentally, this game forces you to grow in both directions. I might even argue that I’ve grown a lot spiritually since I started with the help of the members here. There’s some really solid guys in here and a lot of them would love to help you if you reach out. People can also be a bit abrasive in here it’s just something you gotta learn to not take too personally. Anyhow congratulations on the sobriety stick with it man we’ll see you around.

202 pounds today. Abdomen is definitely leaning out. Staying strong (actually getting stronger)

That lower abdomen flab is sticking like super glue but I'm confident it will come off as long as I stay the course.

Bumped the SB T3 to 50mcg today and feel great. No side effects from it. About to go crush a leg workout!

Back to doing 0.4mg SB tren ace ED and I feel better already. My mind feels more stable.
