Get Shredded!
Well gym equipment as we know is extremely expensive lol so after investing about 1k I still don’t have nearly what I’d like to have.
Let’s here some ideas here. So far I’m going to get 2 five gallon buckets and fill them with water to use. I’m trying to figure out a way to make a bench to be able to lay on and do bench press. I was thinking getting some lumber from Lowe’s maybe and just laying it on the ground to give myself enough room to be able to break 90 while doing bench press. Let’s here what ideas you may have that can be useful at this time that won’t break the bank like actual gym equipment.

i was midway through my workout and feeling the best i have ever felt!! I started noticing that it is an addiction to me. The biggest problem for me is that i have a very stressful job and the gym was the only thing that kept me from going insane. What am i suppose to do now??

Always been a home gym addict (with a commercial membership as an add-on). The more retards show up in gyms these days, the more I hate them (commercial gyms).
(Always loved barbells / dumbbells over machines, though I do like a few). (Dinosaur).

Missing no workouts, these days...

Nice garage gym bro! I have a VERY similar setup in my basement. I hate going to commercial gyms now too. Arm curls in the squat rack all day long!!!!

Took me a couple years to complete it all. I just lurked around Craigslist and bought everything used for dirt cheap. If you look long enough, you can really find some nice equipment.

Well men so far I’ve come up with a few things that may be able to assist us for an affordable cost. 5 gallon buckets with a lid can support 550lbs. Five gallons of water weigh 41.7 lbs. Five gallons of dry sand weighs 67 pounds. Five gallons of wet sand weighs 80 pounds.
At Lowe’s a 5 gallon bucket is about $4.50, a lid is about $1.88 and a 50lb bag of sand is $4.50.

I have a barbell and some light dumbbells already. I’m going to stop at Lowe’s today and see if I can make myself a make shit bench to bench on and just look around to see what else I can come up with. Seems like theirs a ton of options if you just get creative.

Fuck it man. Do floor presses. Add some chains for added weights on the up. Scope out convict conditioning possibly. Those fucks have next to nothing and get Shredded. Plus with scarce foods. We're all soon to diet.

Honestly. Most of my home. Gym is from the trash and you'd be surprised how often it's out there. Find small neighborhoods and do a cruise the night b4 trash goes out. My dude dropped off 300lbs of plates last week for me 2 Olympic bars. And a tricep bar. Few mo this back he set me. Up with a squat rack.. I know it's not in the now. But you can get it piecemeal and if your local parks aren't closed u have access to all the pull-ups and dips u want. Sure this isn't the advice u were looking for just wanted to try to help with what I could think. Be well swole. I'm sure if u keep ur macros up and go hard on bodyweight routine u won't loose to much floor press is better than no press

Ive seen dudes get fucking huge on shit prison food, ramon, shit carbs & no weights. Garbage bags full of water, a partner & a towel using it like a resistance band, own body weight exercises or with a parnter as resistance or extra weight.

Pretty sure cali muscle has alot of vids out there as well for no weights. Have to be creative but its doable. Goto a fucking scrap yard & do deadlifts & squats with the old axles . Farmers carrys etc. Muscle under tension should be easy the hard part would be if your were trying to find heavier shit to lift.

Try fitnesequipmentempire they buy out gyms that fold. They sometimes have huge deals on used gym quality stuff. I have a basement full of cybex and other quality used equipment I got from them dirt cheap. I use it for quick workouts or when my work schedule gets crazy busy.

finally got a reason to skip leg day
Lol I knew Monday was going to be my last workout in the gym for awhile do I did legs. I basically did squats until I couldn’t stand without my legs shaking. After destroying my legs for a good hour and 15 minutes just for shits and giggles I did three sets of heavy bench press and 3 sets of heavy barbell rows. It’s crazy how taxed my body was and how much weaker I was doing these exercises from doing legs before hand. 315 on flat bench no shit felt like 405. I un racked 315 for my first heavy set after a warm up set and I immediately re racked it to check and see if I accidentally put on more weight than I thought lol.
