Having spent nearly a month here in South Africa, I can tell you…even though I have seen plenty of fat whiteys, the fat blacks far, far outnumber them if you use a per population ratio. KFCs everywhere, which means empty KFC boxes tossed out car windows EVERYWHERE. Not so bad here in Cape Town but in Pretoria trash was everywhere. Fuckers even tossing out boxes in game reserves.
You can’t blame us “stealing them away from the mother country” for obesity like they do in the States.
I have learned a lot during my visit here. I might share in a later thread.
It is factual that American enterprises have destroyed some indigenous communities worldwide. Processed food and snacks are outlawed in many countries, this you already know.
There's a lot of countries that look at the examples, like what happened with the Aborigines and the influence of Americanized culture, from there it trickled right to South Africa. Not only the terrible food, but also the platform and ideas behind social financial safety nets for those in poverty, and the type of food that they are provided with, what is known in the US as welfare. In South Africa it's an absolute gold mine for some of these manufacturers that have financial ties with US powerhouses. These people are taking the housing, and the food, and any handouts they can get, culturally they are being reprogrammed that it is acceptable and the normal to use these safety nets, and systems of checks.
Yet, there's some other countries in Africa that want no part of it and they are flourishing on their own, Nigeria for an example because they see what's happening to the community's surrounding them.
