Get Shredded!
Took a few cycles of test 15 years ago. Got in to bicycling. Won a couple state championships on mountain bikes. Then life happened. Ended up with a dad bod. 5’9 160. All my weight is from my neck to waist. I’ve been getting back into cardio and weights but have zero motivation or energy. I’ve been thinking test e. My main goal is to build back some muscles but also loose my belly and some what of man boobies that have developed. Not looking to get too deep into anything to the point I have to worry about internal organs or having a lot of estrogen and getting a fluffier chest when I cycle off. Really looking for advice on what the best route would be.

age? Get blood work done before anything. Gear isn’t gonna cause fat loss, that’ll come from diet. Building muscle and burning fat isn’t gonna happen at the same time, choose one or the other. Motivation and energy isn’t gonna just come to you from test unless that lack of motivation and energy is coming from low testosterone which is why I recommended getting blood work before anything else.

Have you been checked for low T? Before supplementing I would get that done and a full pannel blood test. You want to make sure your healthy.

Start by exercising and eating healthier. We live in an age where nobody has the motivation to workout unless they’re on drugs. It’s placebo at 1st anyway, but all of a sudden they’re motivated… proof that it’s not needed. You’d be amazed at how many guys ask me what I’m taking protein stuff like that really fishing for the gear answer who probably can’t bench 80lbs trying to get stuff 1st then they plan on starting working out 2nd. Ridiculous.

I would highly suggest you get some lab work and see what your total and free Testosterone is. That would be the very first step. You can buy your own lab work online. There are several websites but I use Private MD Labs for mine. The lab work is delivered to you and does not need a doctors order or anything like that. You go get them drawn at a lab corp or quest depending on which you select on private md labs. There are other good ones as well. That is just who I use.

Another option obviously is just talk to your primary care doctor and ask them to check your testosterone level. You may be able to get TRT. It is a massive undertaking to safely do your own TRT. It is a forever thing and you want to monitor certain lab markers etc. Tons of us do it and it is just a matter of self education.

Let me know if I can be of any help to you and welcome to ASF!

I appreciate the responses. Within the next two weeks I’m going to get my T levels checked. I’ve had my normal blood work done and it’s all good. My diet isn’t bad at all and I have my own small farm so I work 12-14 hours of nights and days and manage taking care of the farm. Still ride bicycles and occasionally run. I also use my companies gym and just not seeing the results. 35yo and just not seeing any kinda difference in my body shape or fitness.

Hey welcome! Like some people said, I'd definitely check you T-levels. Also, just get a general checkup with you doc to make sure nothing else is causing low energy/motivation. Unless on TRT, I'd start working out, diet, and cardio regime with no gear to maximize natural ability. Then, I'd jump back on gear.
