I was on chaperone/ chauffeur duty last night. Took my daughter and a couple of her cheer teammates to watch the Red Bull National Freestyle Dance Championships. Total blast, never seen anything like it before and my hat was off, super talented kids. Crowd was clean, no rift raft and they had a blast.

I think it hit me when my daughter asked if they could sit like a couple rows in front of me. I started chuckling and said yeah that’s cool. Started talking with another mom who was basically doing the same thing and she suggested getting a drink later. I said I don’t drink and she damn near through panties at me. She then suggested coffee or a workout. I’m seeing someone and don’t stray do I politely declined.

Kids asked how we can meet some of the dancers and I said how bad do you want to meet them, they’re like REALLY bad. I said follow me, took them outside, doubled around building and waited by area they exit at. Kids met a few of them. My daughter says “dad you’re smart.” I’m like nah I am a diehard UFC fan and may have done stuff like this before.

Felt a little on old side when I debated getting coffee to drive everyone home.

Just a great night and I wanted to share to my fellow 40 and Over crowd

I have three kiddos under 7 years old— hope I can’t be cool and swole as f*ck when my kiddos get to that age. Haha.

Dropped my son off at school (1st grade) last week, said “give me hug, have a great day, love you…”

His response… “Dad, my friends are watching.” Was shocked, but at least he whispered “I love you” back. Haha.

I think blasting a gram a week until they graduate highschool is the way. 🤣

Good stuff man. Being a fun yet protective dad ... the world needs more men like you. Thats why women go ga-ga... lol real men are rare these days.
I drink Redbull on EVERY road trip. No shame in adding some caffeine to stay on point! 😎

Good job bro dad! I was in my early 40’s when my daughter was in high school cheer and we went to every game and competition they had. And being jacked and tan has it’s benefits and also haters. Enjoy it bro it’s fun if parents get involved and enjoy the time and don’t get too competitive some take it to damn seriously.
