Never had a iPhone and never will. Currently using a Google Pixel 6a it's decent. Had a few bumps here and there. If I went back to a flagship top of the line phone I would go back to the Samsung Galaxy line.

Tried an iPhone some years back and even though it cost me a penny I hated it. Stick to the galaxy now. Although that razor was pretty sharp looking. Don't get me wrong the things we can do on phones now makes them so convenient but I would be ok with chirping an old Nextel and just having a computer 😆

I’ve got Verizon emailing me regularly about an upgrade I have for a free iPhone 14.

I’ve been holding off because my 12 works perfectly fine.

If they tell me I can get the 15 on them I’m on it. I take a lot of pictures so I do like the upgraded camera. @GYMnTONIC , $1000 is cheap for a phone lol. Just throw that extra $25 bucks a month on the monthly bill 😎

I have a Samsung S21 Utra 5g. It's a few years old but looks and runs perfect. I bought the 256 gig model so im good for a few more years. My phone new when I purchased it was a little over $1k. Prices on phones are outrageous. When there made in sweatshop with child labor half of the time. I'm keeping my phone until it dosent work anymore.

I like the Motorolas. I can pretty successfully avoid the latest expensive tech, as I live in a place that doesn't have 5G and probably won't any time soon!

I have an iPhone 12 Pro and it works well. Has great cameras, 5G and I bought 128g memory, these things last forever. I think it cost me about a grand and I never buy a contract. I’m grandfathered with true unlimited data, I pay $85 a month for service.

I never sign a contract, I just buy the phone.

I really do have unlimited data. I’ll burn a bunch usually over 30gig easily.
But I’d love to save a few $ I’ll check it out.

Mint Mobile is $15 a month for unlimited. Only catch is you have to buy service in 3, 6, or 12 month increments. Not really a catch since you need a phone nowadays but you just pay it in advance. They're apart of T-Mobile so good service too 👍

Thanks rdm, I was on Mint early last year. After joining and received my sdcard and activated my service. They then said my phone was mot supported for 5g yet but will in the future. They wanted me to stay with them on 4g and I laughed. They should have told me upfront. So I canceled and went to boost mobile. With Boost mobile you can download there app in the app there's a roulette wheel you can spin everyday to win credits. So I spin the wheel everyday and end up winning $15-$18 a month in credits. So I dont pay very much for my service monthly. I play there game and win for once.

The only thing I ever question is service. I get 5G everywhere.

I got a 13 a little over a year ago, I’ll get the 15 next summer. It has a few new things I’m really liking. I’ve got you beat on T-Mobile, I have the military business plan $75/month and I can add additional lines at $10/month and all unlimited everything.

Is T-Mobile as good as they claim? I have ATT and all I care about is coverage really.

Tmobile was the worst brand I ever had in my life. Their customer service was a 0/10.

I had sprint, att, virgin, and ive had verizon for years now.
Verizon is very very good for me, works well, good C/S and I am very happy, not going anywhere

My kids have a phone and service through this brand called MINT MOBILE? It's ryan reynolds brand, you know the actor from deadpool?

We pay something like $100 a year for their service and believe it or not, it works everywhere and very very well. Both my kids have had their phones with that service for 2+ years now. Knock on wood, we have never had a single issue with them and its dirt cheap. They even have a special plan for H.S kids, etc.

It's a well thought out company.

Something for some of you with kids or even for a great price cell service to consider. If verizon wasn't so good for me, I would switch to them.

5G fucks with the Radar Altimeters systems on airplanes, its crazy that this became an issue and we now have to mod the systems with filters to help Rad Alts work despite 5G, you would think government would say halt 5G expansion till you can fix it cause it affects aircraft safety, kinda like pushing an untested vaccine

Sorry, I don't like modern phones, I just want something that sends messages and calls, fuck all those apps, cameras, and everything else.

How people watch movies or porn or chat in boards on such small devices blows my mind. The keyboard and the screen make it torture, I would only use them if there was no other possibility. It's like wanting to train at planetfitness and people pay to have these devices. I don't even want them as gifts. I'm not even considering that you are telling the government where you are and what you are doing every second of your life.
