How many reps do y'all do each Calves exercise ? i do 20-25reps

I usually do 3-4 sets increasing weight each set for 20-30 reps each set. Last set usually to failure.

Yeah anywhere from 20-25. I usually superset them in between exercises

Depends on the person.

I have seen guys with great calves who do very little

Some have to go medieval to get growth.

Arnold said he couldn’t get his calves to grow until he went super heavy.

But for sure I think higher rep range no fewer than 12 reps.

I do 25-30 superset w somthing else.recently I do 5 sets 25-30reps with leg raises burn out abs & legs at end of my workout.

A 20 rep set with these using a 3 second positive and 7 second negative is absolute hell. Even a 10-12 rep set with higher weight but same times is brutal. Like beating someone to death with a spoon brutal! :oops: A minute seems like an hour here.

I train calves twice a week. Seated and standing raises. First day I’ll do standing raise for 15-20 reps and seated for 8-12 reps. Next time I train them I’ll switch reps for each exercise.

4 to 5 sets to failure . Should have to stretch them so u can walk out of the gym
