Get Shredded!
My BP was always as 120/80.

Lately I've been having erectile problems. Decided to check my blood pressure and it's been on average now between 135/85 to 145/85. It's been like this for about 8 months now.

I need to bring my pressure back down about 20 points.

However, I do not want a blood pressure medication that will cause me many side effects. I can't afford to have weight gain, or lethargy, or depression or further erectile problems.

My diet is check, as well as estrogen. I work out 4 times a week. I sleep 6-7hours a night. I don't drink. I don't smoke. I don't take any prescription medications. I'm not a stressed out person. I am 46 years old. Currently taking 350 per week of both testosterone propionate and masteron propionate, as well as 500 mgs of equipoise and arimidex.

Any suggestions of which blood pressure medication I can use that won't cause unwanted side effects?

I've never been on BP meds, but I swear by Carditone. 2 pills a day when on cycle, 1 when cruising at least for me. I throw in some other things for good measure like cherry juice, taurine, and celery seed extract for extra help. You're BP really isn't too bad bro and I think with Carditone you could knock it down to where you want it.

boner problem could be too much estrogen. as far as BP, either get off the AAS or get something pretty benign like a valsartan or losartan. no side effects for me. maybe add a little tadalafil to the mix.

If I smoke weed, my BP drops and I go to sleep and wake up with a boner. This does not happen to me anymore. Seems the weed brings my BP down and relaxes me.

Agreed... 1 Carditone and a 5 mg Cialis a day and Im perfect at 120/65 on average each AM. (At age 56). Only doing .5 CC TRT.

I can agree with this, Losartan and Amlodipine is what I take for BP medication (low dose - due to genetic disposition). No side-effects (that I can speak to).

Carditone is a great way to help lower BP (usually 1 on TRT and 2 when on cycle) and I also include Matcha and Ginger into my daily diet, along with Beet Root into my supplements.

Just my personal take.

Can carditone lower BP by 20 points? Wouldn't it be better if I just took prescription blood pressure medication?

Hard to say what exactly it can do for you personally, you would need to try it for a couple of weeks and see what changes you incur.

"Better" is open to interpretation and really is defined by you and your body/lifestyle.

When was the last time your rbc/hematocrit was checked? How often do you donate? Taking BP meds is not that big a deal as far as sides, but you should really identify the underlying problem first.

I donate blood whenever I noticed my pressure is creeping up on me. Like stated above Lisinopril works great without side effect for me.
What dose do you take?

No sides at all? No lethargy? No erectile dysfunction? No weakness or depression? What about the cough? Lisinopril causes its users to cough.

I have another route for you that requires a few questions. Sometimes (more often in AAS users) high blood pressure is caused because there is a problem in the kidneys. It’s called renal hypertension, the arteries to your kidneys are stenosed or narrowed decreasing blood flow to the kidney which in turn releases a hormone that causes higher blood pressure called Renin. ( can add more detail if interested but that’s the simplest way I know to word it )

So my questions:

1. Do you drink enough water?

2. Have you had labs done to test your kidney function?

3. How much cardio do you do?

4. Do you take a kidney supplement such as astragalus root?

I’m in no way saying this is exactly the problem, just giving you some more bases to check before resorting to a blood pressure supplement that may not work for your intended needs.

Still confused about which carditone to get. Not sure which is the one that everyone is referring to.

I was in a similar situation as OP, and didn't take the minimum dosage, my doctor and a specialist urologist told me it protect your kidney. So, I just started taking it and it's not bad at all. I take them at night. The only issue is sometimes I get up too fast I feel the low pressure. Ask your doctor, we are not young, exception is Hot Rod. 😊

From what I've read..
I'd pull bloods..run labs and Stop the EQ..
A quick look and you should have some insight..liver values..kidneys..RBC..
AND
Never overlook WBC...(if you don't get familiar with this ONE..could be bad)
May just be the combo of some compounds that just jack up your pressure...
BUT
At 46...I recommend you dig deeper..
Just my.oooo2

Lisinopril 10mg on cycle and 1/2 tab-5mg when off or on cruise. Prescribed by my Dr. Using Carditone with Lisinopril knocks my BP too far down and I start to feel sluggish. Both work really well w/out any side effects when you find your sweet spot. Mine was all over the place as I live a stressful lifestyle. I also like NO2 supps that increase nitric oxide. Good for blood flow. Seems to also help me remain stable and I use these tabs for pre workout instead of those other crazy high caffeine wastes of money. May also want to donate especially if the blood is getting thick on ya. All together it’s better to be safe than sorry with this silent killer.

That’s a normal bp on those doses…actually OK imo, diastolic is little high … If you don’t mind running , I’ll start at 15-20 mile/week and you’ll be amazed at the difference , and I’m 50 so I’m ok with a 11min mile
