I actually ended up taking the day off from the gym! Body felt like it needed some rest. I have been doing a lot of self interpretation and basing my diet and lifting off how my body feels.
DIET:
-12oz greek yogurt, 1 oz almonds
-4oz 93/7 ground beef, 1 cup broccoli
-4oz 93/7 ground turkey, 1 cup broccoli
-4oz 93/7 ground beef, 1 cup broccoli
-4oz 93/7 ground turkey, 1 cup broccoli
-6 whole eggs
As I was saying, basically I am going to be doing everything by feel and experience. I have learned a lot about my body over the past 9-10 months, and I know what works for me and what doesn't. I respond greatly with a high fat and protein diet, with enough carbs just to fuel and recovery from my workouts.....so that is what I am going to be doing lol. Right now I am keeping the calories on the low side for now and plan on gradually bumping them up little by little as I need to. I have fat to lose and muscle to gain (don't we all?). Also basing on how I looked in the mirror this morning, I would say a little more on the fat to lose side haha.

GYM:
I am trying some new stuff in the gym. Some simple back to the basics heavy weight to failure training.
Had a quick session today. Get in do your job and get out. That's always how I go about training. High intensity makes me GROW.
Pinned 50mcg igf1 des split bi latterly into each pec immediately pre workout, then did some warming up and stretching and got to work.
I did 5 working sets to failure on every set of incline barbell bench, 5 working sets to failure on every set of leg extensions, and then 5 working sets to failure on every set of standing calf raises.
I start off the bat as heavy as possible, and always try to fail in the 5-9 rep range. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Each concurrent set I always either have to drop the weight a little bit or get less reps. If I can get more reps that the previous set, with the same weight, then something is wrong and I am not doing it right. I am not working my way up like most...I am working my way down. I can start keeping track of numbers for you guys in future sessions if truly curious.
In and out like nothing, a short - but effective day. Tomorrow I'm thinking deadlifts and rear delt work
Very glad I'm getting this show on the road again. Was truly disappointed when I looked at myself in the mirror yesterday morning, I let myself go a little too far. Looking through some previous pictures on this log helped spark some fire too. Ready to put what was done before to shame and truly evolve.
Will update diet when the day is done...taking my daughter to the fair tonight so maybe I'll eat one of those roasted corns and turkey legs lol.
