Help with cycle to an older person 55

Hi guys,

I am looking for advice to assist a person who is 55.
Person in good shape, healthy and a regular gym member.
Dite is really good - doesn't drink and 90% clean every now and again he will have the slice of cake or pizza.


He is on TRT, and looking to experiment. My knowledge of exercise and combination with a cycle is limited.

I did some reading but I can't put together a training program to fit with a cycle. No idea how a 55 YRS should train. Joint and general recovery, even while being on a cycle will be different compare to a younger man.

If you have experience and don't mind to share or even assist that will be awesome.

hello brother and welcome , im 57 and have been on gear for 35 plus years. what i would do is bump my trt up to 300 or even 400mgs/week and toss in some anavar ( really great for lean gains and its mild ) 30mgs/day is plenty you could throw in some deca ( i use 200mgs and thats plenty ) and personally i would toss in 50mgs of proviron to free up some test and it makes you feel great. good luck and take your time. deca is fantastic for joints and youll find recovery is greatly enhanced.

Where I am it's very hard to source anavar, it's always fake. :(.

Yeah man- I pretty much agree w/ Mr. Bacon. I might bump the test to 500 and try deca@ 2- 300 a wk. But not without the proviron. I'm 59 and do this cycle 2 or 3 times a year. But I have to do the provi or the deca will give me dick issues. This is just for me. It may not bother u. Provi is great even if u don't do the deca tho. Good luck and if u want, feel free to pm me anytime- HR- Btw- usually do 50 mgs a day provi year around and it doesn't affect my bloodwork.
 
yah i was going to sugest proviron also hot rod , i also run 50 year round. i really belive that once you try proviron even with just trt you will never look back , im sure hot rod and alot of members wouls agree you feel great on it and i to have years of blood work to back up proviron has zero affect on my liver and if anything has a possitive effect on my lipids. i just love DHT plus alittle ciallis and have almost constand wood. not bad for 57 if i say so myself

Found a coach.
Need to completely re write my diet and training.

I tested how my body react to 100mg test E every 3.5 days.

Body responded well, but the mind was wired.
Sleep is ok, metal is ok just seems to harder doing little things. I know sounds crazy 🤣.

Also my body is in constant pain and seems to be need longer rest period. Which is the wrong way around, from my limited knowledge.

Doing BW tomorrow and will have some answers in 24-48 hours.

Rest and get better. Drink plenty of clear fluids. Ibuprofen will take care of a low grade fever and a mild sore throat. Ultimately you will need to address the sinus drainage causing the sore throat. Benadryl may handle that, or an over the counter cold med for it all.

Once you're better check your weight. It should be a bit lower due to ample hydration if you consume enough water and soup.

I just eat bacon and eggs , makes me feel better 🤣.

I think my main issue is diet:

Notice that my calories amount is far too low.
I eat around 2000 and that's probably didn't help with sickness, I found that in the last 3-4 weeks I was more tired and not motivated.
I am 186 cm 106kg need to eat more. Especially when I try to push heavy.

Hoping my new coach and I will be able to resolve this issue. I don't know what it is but I can go without food for 15-20 hours.
Give me water and black coffee and I am good.

Diet, cycle layout, exercise routine. I recommend hiring a coach. Too much to lay out based on so little info. Good luck
 
I always said if you are not competing it’s not necessary to take so much gear, specially at 57.
I am 57 and the only thing I would recommend is adding 200 of masterin or 25 mg of proviron: this is a very nice addition to try and safe. No need to run large doses and incorporating AIs and mess with e2 and all other kinds of issues.

Just my opinion

Test + cialis + proviron is fantastic for us older guys. It will up your free test numbers even when on trt dosage.
I prefer to add deca like many others here. Great for the joints and I get big on it fast.
You might consider adding in an oral for 3 - 5 weeks. I really like turinabol. No sides for me and my endurance goes absolutely through the roof. I can run and hike like I'm 20 again on good tbol.
For pure mass gaining I like the deca/dbol combo.

At 55 your ship has sailed for cycling. There’s absolutely no need for it and all the bro science you can throw at it is useless. Talk to your doctor and consider trt at best. Have a solid physical, get labwork done and keep things in realistic perspective. There’s no reason you can’t make gains with a good diet and training.

Don’t just start jamming hormones in yourself and then try to figure out why you’re a mess all of a sudden.

50mg is my tbol dose too. I took a month off from orals. Took 50mg tbol yesterday and I’m so energized. Could workout for hours.

I have a similar background and this is good advice. 350 mgs/week test is plenty, stay below 400 at your age. In terms of training, I would suggest 2 days on one full day off to maximize recovery. Keep deca half of your test. Get labs and have periods where you only run 200 mgs/week (120 is even better, but I need 200 to function well). Diet must be on point and do plenty of cardio. 2-3 iu's of GH 5 days a week is also very helpful. Low dosage T Bol, var, or proviron are the only orals I run at my age (60).

Keep dosages low, stick to safe compounds, eat clean and do cardio...see doc often. It is a lifestyle and you must put all the pieces of the puzzle together.
 
120mg a week.
That is a conservative but effective TRT dose. I would do labs 7 days from your injection to establish your starting test level. If you are healthy and have no BP issues and have never done a cycle, you could certainly benefit from 300-500mg a week. Pay particular attention to your hemoglobin and hematocrit. Those are important markers for red blood cell numbers and their size, which may increase with elevated testosterone usage. It's manageable but it's important to know what "normal" is before beginning. Those are included in a CBC.
