Obviously diet (including healthy fats), but Cirtus Bergamot gives you a small boost, regulate blood pressure, insulin levels, more cardio or activity, etc,

The thing you have to watch out for is LDL. Low HDL comes with PED's. Just how it is.

Lipid support supplements are usually fish oil, lipid stabil, lipid revive, etc.

On the pharmaceutical side, you could look into getting a script for Ezetimibe or Resuvostatin. I got both of my scripts from Algorx.com in 5 mins. Note: as Ketchup said, these really more lower LDL improving your HDL/LDL ratio which matters.

Both of those pharmaceuticals can have side effects. Ezetimibe is lighter than statins, which are generally well tolerated but may hit your liver enzymes.

Ok. I've been doing low carb and higher protein for around 2 months. I know not much of a diet. But thought it'd help some.

So grateful you chimed in. Last HDL seemed "low".. and now I understand why.

Now, when you say "watch out for LDL", what specifically are we watching for?

High consistent high levels. Probably the largest factor in correlation to heart disease we know about. Almost every study and meta-analysis shows a linear correlation.

With your total cholesterol levels as low as they are i am not surprised that HDL is low as well. Generally seems hard to raise HDL on such low cholesterol levels. As very low cholesterol levels are linked to shortened life span in many studies i try not to let mine get to low.
