Got promoted on Friday

My old job consisted of managing 1 team of 8 employees. I am now in charge of 5 teams and have their managers reporting to me. I’m excited to punch this clock and put work in

Homies....

Well it happened.. I got a huge promotion at work on Friday. I was hoping I would get it but wasn’t planning on it. This is a serious pay increase and puts me on a career path for future promotions.

I’m happy, but it breaks my heart to leave my current team. I recruited these guys, trained them, but know their next supervisor will be getting a great crew!

I’m posting it in here because I’m sure some of you guys have gone through it before. Happy for promotion but will miss the team I am leaving

I really like burritos

I always sucks to build a team and pass them off, but there is a certain type of earned pride knowing that you have set them and their future leader up for success!
