Got promoted on Friday

Homies....

Well it happened.. I got a huge promotion at work on Friday. I was hoping I would get it but wasn’t planning on it. This is a serious pay increase and puts me on a career path for future promotions.

I’m happy, but it breaks my heart to leave my current team. I recruited these guys, trained them, but know their next supervisor will be getting a great crew!

I’m posting it in here because I’m sure some of you guys have gone through it before. Happy for promotion but will miss the team I am leaving

Congrats! It’s funny but my friends and family that have been promoted in the last couple of years have gotten a 50% increase in pay on the average.
Here I am, retired AF, considering jobs in the $50k mark, which is 50% less than I was making before retirement.
