Getting back to ME

I love the feathers!! You know you can leave them out on the counter right? If you don't wash off the protective coating, as evidenced by the feathers- they don't need to be kept cold. It makes them easier to cook too!

I love watching friends freak out when I leave eggs on the counter
Or the fact I feed my dogs raw food

I didn’t know hens had refrigerated assholes or that wild wolves ate kibble roasted over an open fire lol

My ex and I had upwards to 40 hens at one point. And two Chinese geese that more or less protected the hens.

Good to know! I always wondered if it was worth the work or not
Had some at one point growing up but at that age I couldn’t understand the magnitude of the work behind it or what that entailed

We bought a nice Amish built coop and used 6 for high dog run fencing for a pretty secure run. If you can keep the mites away, which I learned how to do, they don’t really require a whole lot of work per se.

I might pick your brain about that later if you’re cool with it
