General Problems Need help BAD!

Guys I am at a total loss right now, I have completely changed up my routines and I have been lifting for a long looonnng time, my dad started me when I was 12 lol. I have been working a night shift(grave yard shift) for quite some time now, and until recently i never noticed an effect on my body. So i started to notice when I was lifting and doing my normal cardio, and my body fat just started going up even though my diet had not changed nor my routine. So to rectify the problem I started doing not bulk periods of cardio (30-45 minutes) but instead HIIT cardio inbetween my sets, and then with about ten seconds rest doing another lift set. Strength took a huge dive, i was expecting a small one, but not that big I could do 315#s bench for 10 reps of 4 sets easy and now 5 reps for 4 sets is really pushing it. the cardio in between was only 1 minute, very fast paced. Body fat still is going up, so now my training has become harder and my results are getting worse. so heres the list of probs and Im not on a damn thing except for like pre workouts, protein, aminos, CLA, fish oil, and cafine.

-- Very, VErrrryyyy decreased labido (everything still works down there, i just never wanna do it anymore)
-- Sleep is terrible, if hear a pin drop it wakes me up
-- harder workouts, body fat going up, strength going down
-- recovery time is terrible
-- very agitated ego
-- Always tired.

Oh and btw Im 6' 2.5" about 246 pounds, and 16+ % body fat id like to be 235# and about 8 to 10 % body fat. Never had anything like this happen so real help is needed. BTW i tried taking melatonin for the sleep it just didnt work the doses either didnt help or when i woke up I never actually felt awake it was like somebody drugged me.:thinking:

yep night shifter here only thing you can do is cover yourself up as much as possible to keep light off of you so your body knows its time to sleep and dont get around too much get off work and head for that bed you start doing stuff and your body wakes up. sounds like you may need to start over instead of fighting against your ego trying to lift that weight again you may have to slowly start working your way back up and keep track every week of what you do. also use some meditation or brainwave sounds before you go to sleep or youll drive yourself nuts trying to go to sleep. if your hungry eat something like cottage cheese with healthy oils like almonds to get you to sleep your body needs energy to sleep hard to believe

My room is in the basement, on the back of my house, it has the blackout curtains to, it looks like night time in there, the sounds i tried i dont like em at all they really bug me, especially that damn waterfall one, and believe it or not i stopped with the good oils and fats before bed, and the fat stopped coming on so fast. In the past 6 weeks my body fat has gone up 4 to 6 percent, i was at 12 %.

Ive read your bodies growth level has a lot to do with this, you need sleep to produce it and you wont sleep if you dont produce it.

Night shift takes time to adjust. It took my almost a year to get comfortable with. It will effect your workouts until you get a good solid routine down.

goin on 2 years now, trust me the only reason i posted this is because ive read and tried ALOT, i wont ask questions until ive searched high and low, kind of old school even though im young, only 26. I dont say oh im stuck, give me the answer.

Probably wouldn't hurt to see a doc and tell him what's going on. Have him do bloods.
