This fucking sucks... I've done everything the right way, moderate cycles, pct, time off....and now I get the news from the Doc "you have zero sperm that swim forward (motility) making natural impregnation highly unlikely"
motherfuck.... My wife who Is the most amazing person wants a child so bad, and she is very "natural" centered.
Im fucked... I don't know what to say to her, she's gonna blame it on the gear no doubt.
I feel like my world just got turned upside down.
i knew the risks when I started.... So I guess I made my bed and I'll have to lie in it.

alternatives are in vitro, which will cost 10 grand with insurance, which I don't have, which put me back to square one fucked.
I can't blame the gear, this could have been like this if I stayed natty..... But who knows? Wife will defiantly blame the gear

I just don't see how gear could make your swimmers swim backwards you will just have to do some research on the matter and then try and sit her down and talk to her. She will be upset but you guys will find a way to have a child if it's meant to be.

ART are all the assisted reproduction techniques. Isnt there something the can treat the "swimmers" with to get them swimming and then do Intrauterine Insemination ? There are a lot of different things they do besides IVF (went down that road myself ) A sperm donor ? It doesn't take blood to be a good daddy. If you aren't seeing a fertility specialist I would. And care credit finances more than boob jobs expensive ? yes, but worth it to your marriage ????

I would hate to see a relationship end because of this.

Many men can never father a child. My father is one of those men. Even went the route of artificial insemination with my mother. Thousands of dollars spent. His sperm just would not work. He is sterile. (my mother had me already when her and my father met.) Unfortunately, it will be the gear in her eyes. Because we as humans will TRY to find something to point at and be the reason. And we have to be fair, it may well have played a part.

Have you see anything about hmg, hcg, or clomid causing the direction of the sperm to swim forward? I've only seen stuff about increasing count , which isn't' my issue

Best advice yet 10K is NOTHING compared to what they end up costing
And like SheriV said, cant hurt to try switching insurance.
But not time to give up just yet!!!!
