This is my first (pre Cycle) lab test to use as a baseline so not sure how to interpret the results quite yet. One question I have is, would this glucose level make it hard for me to lose belly fat? I mean I have dropped my BF% by 5% to 20% but seemed to have slowed since then. I havn't been getting in my 10k steps everyday, but 4 days a week lately, and I am 55yrs. But I wondering about he glucose levels and what I might understand by this reading.

did you eat at all the day of the bloodwork?

Mine was the same fasted bg level and have dropped weight easily along with some hgh use. Make sure your diet is dialed in and don’t cheat on it. I’ve since incorporated some Berberine and last blood test came back at 89.

Berberine, hmmm. I'll give that a look, thanx.

You might ask your doc about getting prescribed metformin. Supposedly a lot of longevity benefits in addition to helping blood glucose.

what`s with the the supplement/drug suggestions? Stop eating so many damn carbs! You are 20% BF and over 100 fasted BG, that`s a problem. I`ll be in the mid 80`s even using GH. You stopped losing fat because you eat too much

Cinnamon is good for lowering BG also.
I use a combination of cinnamon & berberine & it brought my fasted AM BG from 118 to 89, while on 5iu of GH & some what heavy carbs.

You're just barely above the normal range. I wouldn't be too worried about it. Lowering your carbs and overall calories is a good place to start, plus being consistent with exercise. BG of 101 shouldn't stop you from losing weight. I lost 80lbs of fat 15 years ago (and kept it off 🙂) and as I got leaner by fasted BG went down from around 100 to the low to mid 90s. That's just where my natural level settled. I did a strict diet and ran 5 times a week while fat and it just melted off in 6 months. No drug use at that time either. Just diet and exercise.
