Get Shredded!
I'm just curious and I know this is a touchy subject for some.

Do you think we're living in the end times-last days?

Based on what I read in Matthew 24, things seems to be coming to fruition.

We've been circling the drain for 2000 years. Something is going to happen eventually.

From a moral standpoint humanity has been degrading over the years. Especially in this country it’s clear to see we are on track to get much worse. God is being pushed out of our society more and more as time goes by.

I was just talking to my wife today about this. I was eating my breakfast and reading the news and started to think about different portions of Matthew 24. I feel as though we are indeed in the end times.

I am a spiritual person. I guess some call me a heathen at times. Although it sure seems as though we are facing the end of times. It’s hard to deny things are lining up in a bible written many years ago. Boys live today like there’s no tomorrow

I mean yes and no. We have a tendency to think in that type of way because we live in the here and now. Go back 40 years ago and people were killing each other, kidnapping, rape, hurting or stealing from people, ect. Crazy fact… in the 70’s over 2,000 bombs were set off in California alone! That’s insane… it was the era of the black panthers and anti government movement. If you go back another 30 years from that point and you still have lots of people doing horrible things to the human race. Slavery or the movement our government used to wipe out the Indians… killing hundreds of thousands of American buffalo, not for the meat or the fact the animal produced any significance, other than they knew the Indians survived off that animal.

IMO the internet has brought 24/7 news to our fingertips. We know what happened, as it’s happening, and if not immediately we can point and click to read about it. Humanity as a whole has been awful as a whole for a very long time and I think what’s different then compared to now is that in the 60’s you didn’t know what was going on in the world, lol. You knew barley anything other than what the papers were saying.

I do believe Jesus Christ will come back to us and the end of days is near. On a religious level, I am a devoted Christian, and we do believe in the end of days. Although, it’s not considered a bad thing throughout the church… it’s looked at as a positive step forward to a better future

I believe we are in the end times. It could be our generation when he will return or it can be in our great grand kid’s generation. We obviously won’t know but all the things happening now makes me believe it’s near.

When the rapture occurs it’s going to be extremely Kaotic … I think things will become much much worse.

I wouldn’t focus on the end times, I’d focus on the here and now and your relationship with Christ. That’s what matters for sure

Remember…!

2 Timothy 3:1-5

But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.

This thread has inspired me to pick back up the bible again,

been too long..
I read the Bible every night my friend. See I believe we’re all diamonds. Each of us has many sides to us. And as an example… with a diamond there are many sides… each side represents something. Your career, body image, might be a husband, might be a father to children… then you have a physical side, and emotional side, and a spiritual side.

And I look at this diamond and I realize for me to be happy I need to fulfill all of those for me to be happy. And if I’m missing one… well it’s not good and I don’t feel good. Reading the Bible at the end of the night allows me time with our lord and savior while learning more about myself. I try to pray throughout the day and that helps me keep s positive mindset.

I have always had a hard time trying to decipher in what order to read it.

Going to look up a reading plan.

well I started from the beginning lol. I’m now reading JOB 20:14… page 719 to be exact. This is something I do to get ready for a prepared good night talk I have with our lord. I read for 15-25 minutes and usually that fills me enough. Then I get down and speak to him about my days ahead and thank him for my life. I thank him for this opportunity to go to bed and wake up the next day. Once you start you’ll find your groove. It’s the only way, that I have found, to read the Bible. This allows you some reading time and then prayer directly after. It’s a good way to remember what you just read. I find it fun and very educational.

Good luck man… don’t be intimidated at all. Just read and read it slow. Stop every once in a while and ask yourself what it was that you just read? Or stop reading and ask yourself if you understood the last two paragraphs. Then go back into those paragraphs and see what it’s telling you and how you feel about that. It’s actually a lot of fun.
