Get Shredded!
I've been having elbow pain and a bit of what I can only assume is the beginning of tendinitis. I took 3 weeks off working them. Bought a pressure wrap and then started back working out slowly but, I now see it returning. I'm having pain during Lat pull downs pro and sup and anything focusing on my bracaialis. Mostly hammer curls and reverse grip. Going to the physical therapist that my Union offers for a range of motion evaluation. Any tips on how to switch up to still be able to work the muscle group. I'm already seeing loss and it's a but demoralizing and frustrating. Thanks in advance for the advice Brothers.

Years ago I developed tennis elbow and ended up getting a THERABAND Flex Bar (Google it). It’s inexpensive and after about a week, if I remember correctly, the pain lessened with it being completely gone in 3-4 weeks.

I have tennis elbow on one arm, and golfers elbow on the other. And I don’t play tennis or golf. 😝
It comes and goes and is something I’m always managing. I’ve found that for me using a neutral grip helps tremendously, and is also easier on my shoulders. As GrindingGray mentioned a Theraband is a useful. I do my Theraband crap while I’m on the treadmill. There are also a bunch of vids on YouTube that you might find helpful.

What rep range are you in? I’d go lighter and slower with holds. Its a good way to work around the pain. Avoid exercises that really cause the pain, if cable lat pulldown is causing pain try the lat pulldown machine or assisted pullups.

Agree with jbswole. I’ve been through the same stuff. Had to go through the gym and just find exercises that didn’t hurt.

Majority of My elbow pain came from what turned out to be a couple of bone spurs. I had to get them removed. My elbows still hurt every now and then. But not nearly as much.

My personal experience.. I had elbow issues as well, thankfully nothing was torn. Went to PT and it was caused from my upper back tightness and waist tightnes. About 6-8 sessions w PT and ive been able to lift w no pain however I do practice the Stretches and techniques PT gave me daily

Alpha-grips. They helped my elbow pain. It's a tendon issue. Tendons are the last to grow, so muscle grows faster and as you continue lifting heavier it strains your tendons. Alpha-grips strengthened my tendons much quicker. I use them while I'm driving, watching t.v., etc. They are cheap and effective.

I use dmso cream. Rub on affected areas. I swear by this stuff takes a month or two my pain has totally went away and I haven't stopped training. Has anti inflammatory properties works through the skin.

What about TB500 and BPC157? Everything I’ve read says it’s perfect for those kind of pains.

Bone spurs, ouch. Got a large one on the tip of my collarbone from when I broke it as a little kid...it never was set correctly thus the spur forming. It digs into my delt from underneath when benching and time for it to go so looking into getting it removed.

Since starting HGH last August my elbow tendonitis has basiscally went away or close to. Can pretty much do skullcrushers or DB pullover w/o too much discomfort just need to watch I don't go too heavy. If that's not an option some Tuff wrap elbow sleeves did a pretty good job in limiting the pain.

Good luck man !!

Garlic breath.....lol
I use to put water based test suspension and dmso together and lather my arms up with it.
Be careful with dmso.... It will suck anything through your skin.
