Get Shredded!
I've recently read a few articles and studies done about drinking distilled water in place of normal water to aid in getting rid of fluid retention and sodium reduction. Going to give it a try on day 2 of only distilled water and I gotta say everything is looking way tighter especially in the stomach, thats with no alteration to diet as well. Anyone tried this?

Quite a few coaches out there have their contestants drink only distilled water the last couple days leading into a show for this reason.

Sodium retention is caused by and large improper potassium to sodium ration in the body as well as the use of processed salts. Sodium is critical to life and as with most things when in short supply the body will actually attempt to STORE more of it.

^^^ This. Salt is critical and lots of it. I believe it is also critical to the transport of carbs to muscle cells. So if your carbing up and nothing happens your salt is too low.

I eat half a jar of pickles a day and salt most meals and i'm rarely bloated. Never enough sodium on a truly clean diet.

Which is true, but un-distilled drinking water whether it is "purified", "spring" water has an average of 9-18mg of sodium per cup of water, on the low end of that range most of us drink a gallon a day of water, thats 144mg of sodium just from the water you drink. If trying to critically limit sodium intake that is devastating.
