I use egg protein powder in the morning (just trying it for a while, heard it was ‘better’) and casein protein at night just to get my protein in to boost recovery.

Obviously I try to get most if not all from eating meats. But…. Sometimes ya just can’t get it all in.

I’ll throw whey protein in every once in a while if I’m feeling extra sore.

For example:
I prefer steak, it doesn’t matter if it's a lean cut or a ribeye, red meat is definitely my goto. I like the fulness the red meat brings to the muscle, when Im in a cutting phase I eat more white fish

Chicken, whitefish and venison and or beef… and eggs. All great sources of protein.

I got some bear in the freezer still. Just don’t like the taste of it really.

Just ran out of elk. Grain fed from one of those “guaranteed” hunts but damn if that wasn’t delicious!!

Ive used pasteurized liquid egg also, I liked it, I use whey as well I try to use and isolate unless Im in a pinch, then I buy a LABRADA from the QT store, isolates are supposed to be 90% pure whey where as a blend can be up to 10%pure, that is if memory serves me correctly

No.
Some are absorbable at higher rates than others.
I prefer food sources but for supplementation I prefer Iso-Pure whey isolate (w/carbs. Not the zero-carb version).

nice, I know what you mean. I love the guaranteed hunts, the taste is just that much better imo, VS wild

Preferred food sources:
1. Lean organic beef (strip or London broil completely trimmed with minimal marbeling).
2. Organic eggs
3. Trimmed skinless organic chicken breast
4. Haddock
5. Trimmed skinless organic turkey breast

The vanilla carbolized version dissolves almost instantly and completely just spoon-stirred and it has additional vitamins as well, best taste imo too.

You can find the 7lb bulk buckets on Ebay for like $70 😉 $10/lb vs. $20 buying the 1lb bags at a standard retailer.

Chicken, Beef, eggs, fish, turkey and Venison are my main sources of protein. I've eliminated protein powders from my diet and gone all whole food.

Powder. It’s like regular whey protein powder except it’s not whey it’s from eggs. I just bought it awhile ago to try it out cuz I heard it was lighter on the guts. It’s really salty tasting but once you get used to it, it’s not bad. This is the exact brand and flavor that I have.
